    1. Not sure about the entire special, but we posted all of the BvS related material. You can find the rest of the footage: WW, Suicide Squad, on our Twitter feed. Hope that helps!

    3. Anonymous January 20, 2016 at 1:49 AM someone (not me) has put the special on YouTube in five separate sections. I also live in the UK and they play for me so you should be able to watch them. I have attached the link. Enjoy.

  2. Batamn v Superman is make or break for his career. Clip looks make to me. Thank you.

  3. BvS is not being marketed correctly, It should take a lesson from SS. That seems to be the reaction to the CW promos across the board.

Its WB both, yet apparently different teams. The net seems much more hyped for SS than BvS.

Cavill is sharp as a tack. He sees this. He is not going to sign onto an iffy project - the DCEU.

Don't be surprised to see him announce he is leaving the role. Ever the professional he won't hurt BvS, but wait he will several months after its premier before announcing it.

You heard it first here. Mark your calendars.

  4. Nothing new. Rumors out there for a while that Henry will announce he's leaving the role shortly after BvS.

    1. Henry is confirmed for Justice League. Wherever you're getting that information from is clearly misinformed. Both films are part of the same DC world the studio is now rolling out. If Suicide Squad is a hit, that's great news for everyone in that world. Including Batman v Superman and Henry.

    2. It has been 3 years and WB and Cavill have not agreed to a contract for Justice League 2 or another Superman film. At this late date it seems unlikely it will happen.

    3. Fortunately, that rumor is debunked by another that HAS been confirmed, as you can see in the link below:
      http://dccomicsextendeduniverse.wikia.com/wiki/The%20Justice%20League%20Part%20One%2FRumors

Henry Cavill got a new contract that locks him to be Superman in all Justice League films and any subsequent sequels of MoS.

Worry not Supercavill fans, Henry will be Superman for many more years to come.

    4. Thank you for that link. Much appreciated.

  5. How BvS does is it. MOS disappointed WB, UNCLE bombed.

Profit drives studios. If BvS underperforms Cavill is out. That is the reality. Vulture said months ago as this blog posted, his career is on the line here.

    1. The story was about the 'Most valuable stars of 2015,' him being one of them. http://www.henrycavillnews.com/2015/11/henry-on-almost-becoming-royal-marine.html?m=1 Here's the article again, for clarification purposes. Thanks for the feedback. But I really wouldn't worry too much about it. Supes is sticking around.

    2. Thank you for reposting.

The key comments are is he (Cavill) Downey or Routh and, no matter how well a Batfleck driven BvS does, Cavill has to step up to the plate or he is out.

This blog reposted it and so it seems it takes some truth from the Vulture piece.

The question remains, if he does not step up to the plate, will WB drop him? JL does not start filming until June and it would be tight but who knows what WB is planning behind the scenes.

WB can't afford any piston to be missing for JL1. It is the foundation for their billion plus investment in the DCEU. It would be tight but Henry could be replaced for JL1. WB is looking at audience reaction to him before going forward with him.

The good news is so far he seems to be going toe to toe with Ben in the trailers and TV spots.

However, until June or so, Henry's future in the DCEU won't be known.

    3. I think the Staff Writer is right in that Superman will be sticking around but I don't know who will be playing him.

    4. anon 10:10 That does not make sense. Why would someone besides Henry play Superman. I think you misunderstood the staff writer

    5. I didn't misunderstand. The part might be recast. It happens.

    6. I suppose it is a possibility like Anonymous January 21, 2016 at 5:31 PM said. We'll all just have to wait and see.

    7. I was trying to think of re-casted characters in trilogies or series of Superhero films. Rachel Dawes went from Katie Holmes in Batman Begins to Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Dark Knight. James "Rhodey" Rhodes went from Terence Howard in Iron Man 1 to Don Cheadle in all the other Iron Man/Avengers films. Mark Ruffalo took over from Edward Norton and Eric Bana playing Bruce Banner.

    8. You guys, Henry is not getting recast, and filming does not begin in June. @anonymous at 6:23 pm is right. And please read Kat's comment below because she's on point. Thanks for the support everyone!

  7. Wtf r u pple talking abt?! Wif no reliable sources 2 back up ur comments rgding Henry leaving DCEU. I bet when BvS delayed its production, 1 of e many contracts WB had 2 sort out b4 filming, is Henry's. WB has confidence in henry's supes, that's y they r taking e risk into building a shared DC universe despite e (unfair) criticisms MOS received. Henry has said many times he is committed 2 b supes 4 as long as WB wants him. So what MOS2 is not announced yet?! Affleck's solo batman movie doesnt hv a date too! WB/DC hv alot on their hands nw. Lets all go all out n show our support 4 henry n hope that BvS can knock it out of the park n shut all the haters up.
Go henry go! Go supes go!
Sorry 4 my loonnngggg post :D

    3. Check out just released JL1 concept art - sure looks like Supes is sporting Henry's face.

Chill folks. JL1 is part of his original deal.

Watch WB and Henry formally announce he's signed for another outing as Superman in JL2. Right about when BvS releases. Its how studios promote these things.
