Henry & Armie Get Their Spy On, In New U.N.C.L.E. Promo Image


Now we're talking!

A few days ago Warner Brothers released their first official still from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. -- only we had already kind of seen it, in Empire magazine. This new promo pic in Total Film's February 2015 issue, shows Henry and Armie in action (HELLO sexy Solo!). Forget about the Batman v Superman wait, counting down to the August 2015 U.N.C.L.E. release, is becoming pure torture!

Hey, Hey, Hey, Look Who's Back & Sporting A New 'Do!

UPDATE 12/24: What could be better than a new pic of Henry looking HOT on vacation? -- the swoonworthy full length version is in. Click for HQ. 




Just as we were about to round up the search party, Henry has resurfaced! (think we've said this before, but seriously.. don't do that to us again, Superman!).

Kristin J: "To top off an amazing vacation, I met one of my celebrity crushes, Henry Cavill."

 Should we give her our first born for sharing her awesome pic?

Last time we saw Henry he was in Deming, getting ready to wrap Batman v Superman.. THREE. WEEKS. AGO. (don't do that to us AGAAAAAIN).

Anyway, he's back and looking rested, and tanned, and tanned, and OH, SO, TANNED.. but most importantly *happy.* That's all we could wish for him this holiday season, after he worked his butt off all year in Detroit (and just wait till you see your Christmas card, Henry!).

Oh, and what about that new buzz cut? (Stratton calling!) - Here's your reaction..










Thanks for your feedback everyone, and as always thanks to Henry for realizing we cannot live without those fan pics. Seriously.. don't do that to us again. Hope you're enjoying your time off!

Is The End Of 'Clois' Coming In 'Justice League Part 1?'


Okay, so we're pushing it with the headline, but you already know how we feel about a Superman/Wonder Woman hookup. In a recent interview Amy said there will be no drama between Lois and Diana Prince in Batman v Superman, but while talking to Moviefone, she's now also confirmed she's only "locked in" for one more film:

How many of these things are you locked into?

Locked?!? I'm trapped! [jokes] No. I'm committed through the next one. I know that.

So what happens in Justice League Part 2? wouldn't we want to know. For the record, this is just fun speculation, obviously the heart of the story will still be the interaction between the members of the Justice League. So who will be Supes' BFF?.. we kind of think The Flash and him would get along really well, we'd love to hear your feedback. Back to Amy, during that same interview she mentioned working with Ben in Batman v Superman, and we're trying reaaaally hard not to give her the side eye..


How was Ben as Batman?

He's hot! Sorry, Jen. I have the utmost respect for your relationship, but he looks fantastic. And the work that I did with him, I think it's going to be great.

Now again, we realize this is a shared DC cinematic universe, and we're gonna have to live with people talking about Batman's hotness factor for months to come, and that's cool.. we like Ben. But not you Lois, NOT YOU!

In the meantime we'll just be sitting here, waiting for that Batman v Superman trailer to drop. Hopefully sooner than later... news as we get it!

WB Reveals First Image, Synopsis: The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Be still our hearts.

A few months after Empire published the first images from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (shortly after the film was pushed back to August, 2015), Warner Bros. has given us the (slightly different) HQ version of one of them, and it's a beauty.

Collider shared the pic, along with the synopsis: 

 Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel”) stars as Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) as Illya Kuryakin in director Guy Ritchie’s action adventure “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” a fresh take on the hugely popular 1960s television series.

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

We had posted a variation of this description but this is the official one, and like Collider mentioned a trailer can't be that far off. Oh yeah, Solo Time!

2014 In Review: Vote For The Best Fan Picture

When you start a blog in support of an actor, you initially don't know what you're gonna get when it comes to fan encounters. Luckily for us, we struck gold with Henry. In our experience he's one of the nicest, most approachable stars with his fans. In fact some of our best posts have been fan generated, thanks to your pictures and stories after meeting Henry. As 2014 comes to a close, we're putting together a year in review post. We'd love for you to tell us, which was your fave fan pic of the year. Below are the finalists. We had seen Henry earlier in January with another Detroit fan, but it was Gjonny boy's story coupled with our first look at that purple Under Armour sweater that made this pic a finalist.

#2 The Super beard


This is a group entry, because there was just SO. MUCH. GOODNESS. that day. 

Automatically a finalist. No need to explain.


#4  Superman lands at LAX


Taha's story landed this hot pic on the list. "Henry definitely loves his fans."

Alora just about made our year when she met Henry and was not afraid to show her excitement. Plus her story was the sweetest.

This fan picture stands on its own merit. Jesssteff mentioned that she almost passed out when she met Henry. Can you blame her?

These are gonna be tough to beat. When we saw Josephine's photo with Henry we nearly melted. And then came Ava.

That time when Henry was awesome with absolutely everyone in El Paso.. and we can't thank him enough.

Exclusive Summer Candids: Henry & His Trainer In Detroit



Henry may have finished filming Batman v Superman in Detroit, but the pics from Michigan keep coming in. Okay, so it's more like we asked the photog who shot these beauties whether he had anything more to share (we're not beyond groveling, these are desperate times.. don't judge). Luckily for us, he delivered!

Randy Chiang tells us he shot these photos of Henry and his trainer, Michael Blevins, around the same time he photographed Henry in his Superman suit and got the best Kal set pics EVAH. Thanks Randy.
