New Pic & Footage From 'Huawei P9' Shanghai Shoot

Huawei keeps surprising us with new content from Henry's P9 ad campaign. We caught their birthday post for him on their main IG, but missed this top new pic posted on the UK one.

Today the company also released a second cut of their behind the scenes clip, only this one is ALL about Henry and it comes with new footage from the Shanghai shoot.







The TV ads and billboards have also started popping up in several parts of the world, and fans are taking notice!






We can see how that could be distracting.. More to come.

'Batman v Superman' Contest Winner Shares Her Experience



It was the dream of a lifetime: Henry inviting fans for a chance to fly with him by entering the Ultimate Batman v Superman experience, in part benefiting Durrell Wildlife.

This week Omaze, which ran the contest in conjunction with Warner Brothers, posted an update on what your entries meant for the winner and the charities the campaign supported.


Your donations provided 8,423 days of food for a Silverback gorilla at Durrell Wildlife, which we're sure means a lot to Henry since he adopted the gorilla family at the park (and so can you!).

As for the winner, Jennifer was kind enough to share some of her experience with us by answering a few questions about the day she met Henry and the rest of the cast of Batman v Superman in New York.

What was your reaction when you heard you had won?

When they told me to "call my sister and tell her she's going to New York," I was so startled, all I could say was, "Are you serious?  Oh wow!" I must have said "wow" about a dozen times!  I wanted to win, of course, but I honestly wasn't prepared to actually WIN!



First impression of Henry?

 My first impression of Henry was that he was charming. They had come in from Mexico City only a few hours before, and I'm sure he was exhausted.  He came into the room, gave me a hug and said, "Thank you so much for coming!" What a thoughtful thing to say. Any nervousness I had completely left at that point.

Can you describe what the flight was like?

For the helicopter ride, we were taken around the Statue of Liberty and around Manhattan. It was a pretty spectacular view of the city. None of us had ever seen the Statue of Liberty from that vantage point before. It was so different seeing New York City from the air but not from the seat of an airplane, and getting to fly closer to the buildings. And of course, having Henry sitting next to me didn't hurt either!

 How was it like attending the Batman v Superman world premiere in New York City?

Walking down the red carpet (or in this case, the black carpet) was pretty surreal. Hundreds of people taking pictures, interviewers from different entertainment shows and magazines and the TV cameras. And the celebrities! When we weren't taking pictures with Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Affleck, we were meeting everyone from Matthew Morrison to Will Smith! Such a great time taking pictures with Henry on the carpet. He makes everyone look good. And how can you not have fun spending the day with Superman?

Henry Thanks Fans For 'The Durrell Challenge' Support


A week from tomorrow, Henry will be back home in Jersey, to participate in The Durrell Challenge.

His fundraising page went up less than a month ago, and he was able to reach his goal by his birthday thanks to your amazing support.

On Friday, Henry posted this message for you:


Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to you all for donating so generously in such a short amount of time! Both Durrell Wildlife Trust and I, are incredibly grateful. You guys are the best! Henry

Justice League Production Update, BvS Blu-Ray Features, More

UPDATE: It looks like Bats will be pulling double duty on the Justice League set. Deadline is reporting that Ben Affleck will now also executive produce the film already shooting in London:

"Affleck is doing this to be supportive of Snyder, with whom he worked well on Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice." -- READ THE REST.


Cyborg and The Flash have given us a sneak peek at the Justice League set, as they spoke out in support of a campaign that opposes the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller's call to action, comes just days after Jason Momoa gave us a preview of his Aquaman look in his online plea for help with the same cause.




Jason later mentioned the kind of work he's been doing on set:

"Amazing day. Mahalo to our amazing stunt team."

 As for Supes, we're still not sure he's begun filming. Henry shaved off his beard over the weekend, but the hair color seems kinda light to us. Yes, we're on hair color watch now.

And here's some exciting news for you Lex fans (we know you're out there), he's headed to London's Comic-Con later this month.


If you want to attend his panel, here's the info you need to know. Makes you wonder what the chances are that Jesse is also there for filming.

In the meantime Warner Brothers (in Burbank) is getting ready to kick off its updated studio tour with DC Universe: The Exhibit, and they've shared a preview!


This week we also learned a little bit more about the 'Batman v Superman' Blu-ray, that's expected to hit around mid-July.

Happy Birthday Henry Cavill, Support Durrell In His Honor


Henry turns 33 today! (it's already May 5th in London), and you guys have outdone yourselves in helping him reach his Durrell Challenge goal in time for him to blow out his candles.  

Thanks to your amazing support Henry has now surpassed his fundraising target, now let's try to reach the total amount! -- Keep leaving your messages for him on his page and remember every little counts.

Just last week Henry mentioned on Instagram just how much it means to him:

I did want to say thank you for the continuous support you have shown for the things that are dear to my heart!

 Here are some other ways you can get involved in supporting him ahead of The Durrell Challenge on May 15.

You can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win Henry's first car.

You can start your own fundraiser (you don't have to run with Henry, but obviously that's the better option).

'Justice League' Watch: Fan Pic Reveals Super Beard Is Gone

She met Kal and a clean-shaven Henry this afternoon in London, which likely means..








Some may need a little time to adjust..





But in the end we're all just REALLY READY for Henry to start filming Justice League.. like NOW. Especially after seeing the latest pic Supes just shared on IG and Facebook.

Henry Shares Moment From Shoot With Scarlett Johansson



Someone knows exactly what to say to make a girl feel like a queen..

Today Henry shared a photo from the New Zealand shoot for the Huawei P9 campaign. He's been busy promoting the new smartphone, since he was announced as the ambassador for the brand last month.

The P9 has been available for pre-order, with Huawei expected to begin deliveries by the end of the week.

Last Push! -- Let's Get Henry To His Goal By His Birthday


UPDATE (5/3): You've done it! -- Henry has achieved his target and surpassed it. Thank you so much everyone. 

Henry is SO close to reaching his Durrell Challenge goal..

Help us make it happen by his birthday on Thursday!

We can't think of a better way to support an actor who has shown this is what matters to him: Helping others with his dedication to the causes he's an ambassador for (and Durrell is an awesome charity).

Fan Shares Her Weekend Pic With Henry In London

Seema just posted her cute weekend pic with Henry in London, and he still has the beard! --We're also loving The Royal Marines Charity sweatshirt he's wearing. Seema went on to say that Henry is "an amazing guy, very humble and sweet."

He's been busy training ahead of Justice League filming, and will be taking part in The Durrell Challenge two weeks from today. Thanks for sharing your pic!

More DC In WB Tour, Alfred Back In Justice League, More


We knew updates from the Justice League set were going to be hard to come by, and sure enough we've learned pretty much zip so far. Luckily Henry has been sharing his training pics, and you can already see the Supes body starting to take shape in this new fan photo from London. We also just found out that Alfred will be appearing in the film. Showbiz 411 was first to report the news, after actor Jeremy Irons allegedly confirmed his return. His snarky remarks were a welcomed addition to Batman v Superman, and we can't wait to see him back supporting Bats on the big screen.

J.K. Simmons this week jokingly mentioned the secrecy surrounding Justice League, while talking to Seth Meyers. Hopefully we at least get official news once in a while. Or not. Prepare yourselves for the suffering that is to come..


On the positive side, we're getting closer to the release of the Batman v Superman extended version that has been (kinda) confirmed at 181 minutes. We had already heard that, but a Swedish retailer also claims the Ultimate Edition will come with TWO HOURS of extra features.. now we're talking! -- It's expected to be released sometime this summer. -- via Den of Geek


Finally, Warner Brothers has announced its expanding its studio tour to include "DC Universe: The Exhibit." Opening May 24, it will include props and more from Batman v Superman:

The exhibit also showcases “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” through an interactive experience, paying homage to the original “Super Hero,” Superman, and nocturnal crime-fighter, Batman. Guests will have the opportunity to get up close to Kryptonite, Superman’s sole weakness. Inserting their hands into a pair of gloves, inside a case holding the element, they will mirror Lex Luthor (played in the film by Jesse Eisenberg) and his kryptonite case featured in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Additionally, guests can see striking Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman costumes, as well as the authentic costumes of Lois, Clark, Alfred, and Bruce Wayne, original Bat Lab in the Bat Cave set pieces, and much more. 

You know we're paying them a visit and will report back!
