RMCTF: Henry Updates His Message On Fundraising Page


Henry recently reached his fundraising goal for The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, and he's updated his message for you!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donating to my charity The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.

I chose to support this charity, not only because of my obvious familial connection, but because of the deep respect I have for the Royal Marines as men and as a corps.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and the RMCTF during the Gibraltar Rock Run, it was a great honour and pleasure to take part in this special occasion.

I have reached over my goal for this event in support of the RMCTF and I thank everyone again who has donated. This page will now close, but a new will be opened for all future events.

The fundraising page remains open for now, with Henry exceeding his target by raising £20,050 (roughly $29,824) for the charity which he's an ambassador for. We can't wait to bring you news on whatever event comes next. In the meantime, fans in Gibraltar are still talking about his October visit!

Fans have also been supporting the charity, by buying hoodies like the one Henry has been wearing.



You guys rock, and we hope we can count on you as we continue our support for Henry and his charity work. Happy weekend, everyone!

      Its like HR rumored. His continuation as Superman depends on how Uncle does. Strictly business. It is what it is. Let's at least allow others to be open about it.

      We were just chatting with River the other day on how no other actor has been able to breath life back into this character since Christopher Reeves until Henry came along. WB needs to rethink there decision.

      You guys, let's not let this one commenter hijack this positive post about Henry's charity work. With all due respect to the poster, there is absolutely no truth to those rumors. Henry will continue to be Superman for the foreseeable future. He's the man!

      River, there is nothing to worry about. Henry is Superman. He's not getting replaced. If there was any truth to those rumors, I wouldn't be saying that. Trust HCN okay? x

      Henry will be amazing in The Man from UNCLE and Batman v Superman. There is nothing to worry about. Now back to being out cheerleader, River! :)

    My concern more is Adams saying JL part 1 is her last Lois outing. Too, she was kind of flip. I think she said she won't be locked into the character anymore. didn't like the wording. So will Superman's cast of characters not be part of JL part 2. In favor of more Bats family. How much of a role will Superman play in JL part 2? Seems like his role is diminishing over time in favor of Affleck who has become WB's RDJ. Just hope Superman and Henry get to be at least in part 2 of JL. Beyond that who knows.

      We don't know for certain what's I store for JL2. Maybe she's still in negotiations so nothing is set in stone. And where exactly was she "flip"? And is she not allowed to say nice things about Affleck? I thought actors are supposed to see nice things abouit their costars especially during promotion. Especially when regarding someone who the public (specifically the hard core CB/CBM fans) were iffy on playing such an iconic character. So she should just be like "I'm Team Henry and screw everyone else"? I dont get that logic.

    Adams can't seem to get enough of Affleck, Gushing about him all the time. Her prerogative but her Lois comment makes me think she'd rather be a Batfleck supporting character.

    So if Superman is included in JL 2 I'd just as soon have a news Lois. Adams was not my first choice and she dos not have all that much chemistry with henry.

    Don't believe anything unless it comes straight from the horse's mouth. And no, it's highly unlikely that Henry will be replaced as Superman given the fact that he's A, Completed a project that is bound to be highly publicized, a huge success (given that it's Guy Ritchie directing it and is based on a hit show from the 60's), and is guaranteed to make his name even more of a household commodity. B, WB isn't going to reboot Superman - for the nth time - while they're already scheduled to go ahead with what Henry just completed (Batman vs Superman) along with what's already been determined for future projects in a year or so (JL part 1 & 2). Also, don't forget about the contracts signed by Henry to play Superman. They hold some weight. So yeah, just ignore the rumor troll - who obviously likes to stir up trouble before gleefully jumping back underneath their bridge - and know that our guy is the one and only. In other news, very awesome that his foundation could not only reach its goal, but surpassed it as well!

    Henry is signed for JL1. WB needs to option him for one more outing as Superman or JL2 which I'm sure he wants to do. Complete JL1 & Jl2. That means he will play the character 4 times just as Christopher Reeve did. Nice bookend to Reeve's Superman stint.

    Not to worry. WB will sign him for second JL. Its 5 years off folks. Too early to commit. Only peeve I've got is Affleck is sort of the face of the film when its as much Henry's as his, But Henry is in the UK and Affleck lives in LA the epicenter of entertainment media press.

    Ok calm down, it's all speculation. No matter what like 8:51 am said Henry will have 4 under his belt just as C.R. And that's pretty impressive. I hear you, I freaked when the first comment was posted but all we have to do is support him. Support "Man from Uncle" let's blow it out of water, we can do it, it's our money that's going to make it or break it. I will be at that theater opening weekend no fail. We will see then what WB has to say.

      It's business, you support the films you support Henry, simply math. So opening weekend get your bee-Hines to the movie theater and everything will be fine.

    Yes. Henry will do 4 films as Superman and Reeve, awesome in the role, did four. No actor stays on for more than 4 films in a franchise so its all good.

    I know that the rumors of Superman dying are just that. There is the funeral scene in Washington and the one in Smallville. Why would Perry and Lois be there?

    My heart tells me Henry will be in JL1 but I am worried about what looks like Superman/Clark dying in BvS. What does that mean for JL1?
