Gosh, we get zero news for days and then bam! -- It's been eventful, to say the least.
Henry kicked off the weekend with a fun Friday throwback and that was followed by Guy Ritchie's post marking the fifth anniversary of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.'s release. Then Henry had to go and comment on the director's post to leave us feeling all mushy...
Here's to Solo getting that second adventure teased at the end of the film.
Another role fans have really loved, was Henry's emotional performance in Nomis/Night Hunter. Guy at the Movies is planning a watchalong on August 29, followed by a Q&A with director David Raymond. Tune in at 7pm EST.
Finally, the DC FanDome schedule has been released and Zack Snyder will be joined by special guests at 5:45pm EST next Saturday, for a panel discussing his original cut of Justice League.

DeleteIt would be so awesome to see a Man from U.N.C.L.E. sequel. That was such a fun and visually stunning movie, and Solo was a great character. If it doesn't happen though, I'd love to see Henry and Guy team up again in another project. Between Henry's screen presence and Ritchie's style, whatever they do would be great.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I want more:MoS2, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. 2, The Witcher to run for six/seven seasons? *In Yen's voice*: "I want everything!" Idk if the projects he chooses are amazing or if his genuine love for the material/roles and his performances makes them more amazing. Although a success of a movie/series is a combination of a lot of things, in these cases I believe it's the second. If someone else was Geralt the show would be very different and not nearly as great as it is. Henry has a bright future ahead of him and I'm happy people finally recognize his talent.

ReplyDeleteHC fans should unite to start a SoMe petition - a call out to the film studio, Guy Ritchie & the rest for a sequel, MfU2. Start a Man from U.N.C.L.E. 2 movement. There is proof it can,for may, work...look what happened with the release of the Zack Snyder cut of JL film.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is one of my sister's favorite movies, she introduced me to it even if I'm the Henry fangirl. I wish there was a sequel. Nothing is impossible, but especially now that Henry is in high demand after the success of the Witcher. If not I hope he works again with Guy Ritchie.
