'M:I Fallout' London Update, 'Nomis' Reshoots Wrap In Winnipeg

It's snowing on the London set of Mission: Impossible Fallout!

Director Chris McQuarrie hinting at what sequence they are working on this week. Michelle Monaghan is there... which likely means the scenes are linked to the New Zealand portion of the shoot.

M:I Fallout: Is Henry Really The Villain?... Trailer Next Sunday!

Paramount Pictures

Yes, that's Henry in that helicopter chasing after Tom Cruise in New Zealand. The official photos of this incredible air sequence were released on the Graham Norton Show, where the cast revealed some key details about the film that comes out July 27.

1) They are still filming in London. Tom mentioned they have six more weeks to go.

2) Tom called Henry the "primary antagonist" in the film, however did differentiate him from the real baddie Sean Harris. That, coupled with the new photo of Henry with Angela Bassett and the plot outline: "The best intentions often come back to haunt you..." is now making us think that *maybe* Henry thinks Tom is the bad guy, which is why he keeps going after him. He could very well be the villain, but now we have our doubts.

A week from today, we'll get a few more clues when the first trailer for Mission: Impossible Fallout is released during the Super Bowl. Tom shared some details about it, and Deadline confirmed a few more:

Paramount is currently scheduled to air a 30-second spot during the Pre-game and another during the last half hour. Those time slots will be allocated to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (July 27) and John Krasinski’s horror thriller A Quiet Place (April 6).

We're not sure which spot airs where, but as soon as the M:I Fallout one drops, you'll find it here!

New Still Of August Walker In 'Mission: Impossible Fallout'

Paramount Pictures

A huge thanks to @synistere for letting us know about this new still of Henry, stylishly walking away from Angela Bassett on the Paris set of Mission: Impossible Fallout.

Makes you wonder what side he's really on! (wink, wink). What we do know for sure, is that his character's name is August Walker (we knew it!) as revealed by Henry on The Graham Norton Show.

The new official photo was part of that appearance. Don't miss the cast interview and pics, and get ready for a Super Bowl Sunday trailer!

UPDATE: Tom Cruise has shared the HQ version on his social media.

'Mission:Impossible Fallout' Cast On The Graham Norton Show

PA Images/via

Just hours after learning that Mission: Impossible Fallout is the title of the latest film in the action franchise, we have a first look at the cast during the taping of their appearance on The Graham Norton Show in London. The episode will air tomorrow night on BBC One and sometime next month on BBC America. If you can't watch it, don't worry... we'll post their interview as soon as it hits YouTube.

UPDATE: The Express has a preview of what the cast spoke about during the show:

Tom Cruise spoke on The Graham Norton Show about what is apparently the most ambitious stunt ever recorded for the franchise.

The leading man said: “There is one big set piece, which has been two years in the planning. We do an aerial helicopter sequence, which in terms of action is the largest we have ever done.

“We were flying very low near rock faces and I was literally on Henry’s tail. It was incredibly exhilarating and dangerous.”

Cavill added: “I thought at one point, ‘ah, this is how I go but at least I will have been killed by Tom Cruise and it will definitely make the papers!’”

More details via The Evening Standard:

Cruise spoke about the moment he broke his ankle during filming the Mission Impossible 6– and confessed that it’s still broken as they finish filming for the highly-anticipated new film.

Cruise, 55, told the show: “I was chasing Henry [Cavill] and was meant to hit the side of the wall and pull myself over but the mistake was my foot hitting the wall. I knew instantly my ankle was broken and I really didn’t want to do it again so just got up and carried on with the take.

“I said, ‘It’s broken. That’s a wrap. Take me to hospital’ and then everyone got on the phone and made their vacation arrangements.”

P.S. With a special green room appearance by Kal!

Also... Tash of Steel is inviting you to watch.

First clips are in!

This is what we've learned as we wait for the entire show to be released online.

Watch the full show HERE or HERE. We'll update with the official YouTube version as soon as it's in. It airs on BBC America Friday, February 9th.

New Mission: Impossible's Title, Plot Outline Released

"Get ready. #MissionImpossible"

Here we go!

The first details of Mission: Impossible 6 are starting to come in, including the plot outline and official title:

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

After Tom's big reveal, director Chris McQuarrie shared some details on the film's title and why it was chosen...

We still don't know who Henry plays in M:I6, but you guys seem to agree that he's probably up to no good.

We're awaiting the first trailer release any day now, so keep checking back for the latest updates!

UPDATE: Tom Cruise has confirmed on Weibo that the first trailer is dropping Super Bowl Sunday! -- Read the details on Trailer Track.
