Production Update: 'The Witcher' Filming In Poland

Henry popped back up on his social media, just in time for the next round of The Witcher filming outside of Budapest.

Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich later seemed to confirm that, with her post somewhere over Europe.

So where are they headed? Some of the cast and crew from the Netflix show have been posting updates from Poland... where the fantasy series originated. Therica Wilson-Read and Anna Shaffer look excited to be there. You can check out the updates on Therica's Instagram.

The Witcher is reportedly in Poland for just a couple of days, so stay tuned for updates!

UPDATE: Bonus shot of  the *best* salesdog in the world... in Europe with Geralt himself.

UPDATE #2: That was quick!

It looks like filming *may* be over in Poland. Lauren S. Hissrich posted this photo from the set at Ogrodzieniec Castle today.

While several of Henry's costars were spotted at the Polish castle, it's all kind of spoilerish -- so CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Meantime, it appears Henry has been filming at a separate location in Budapest. His brother Charlie sharing this pic from that set.

"Looking Forward To One Day Maybe Getting To Fight Henry"

Warner Bros.

This is a superhero matchup that we'll have to wait to see.

While there are several Superman references in the new Shazam! film, unfortunately Henry did not appear in the movie. But that doesn't mean Zachary Levi isn't ready for him!

"I'm pretty proud to play maybe the only character in all of comic book lore, anything in the DCEU... who could legitimately beat Superman and I'm looking forward to one day maybe getting to fight Henry Cavill. I think that would be freakin' awesome."

You can watch the clip below at about 1:26.

Supes also came up as the cast of Shazam! spoke to BuzzFeed. When the actors were asked who they would choose as their superhero sidekick, Asher Angel and Jack Dylan Grazer picked the Man of Steel (watch at 1:39).

Teen Vogue tried to trip them up by testing their Justice League knowledge... but the actors proved to know quite a bit about the film. Their answers at about 3:50.

We thought Shazam! was a pretty entertaining film, but you know what would have made it better?....

The Witcher: Radio Show Shares New Pics From La Palma

 Images: Onda Cero

As The Witcher filmed in La Palma, Henry was seen out and about a few times. El Time shared several photos and now Onda Cero has released some more, as the radio show spoke with the La Palma Film Commission about Henry's visit to the Isla Bonita and the fact that filming ran very smoothly. Officials confirmed that all three directors on the series were on the island, speculating that's why there was such a variety of local sets. Their hope is that if the show is successful, The Witcher may return to film in La Palma.

The radio show also talked with the owner of a restaurant that hosted Henry and some of the members of the cast and crew over the span of four days. The woman said Henry was very nice and when the radio host mentioned he heard there had even been some Bachata dancing, the restaurant owner confirmed it -- adding that Henry also pulled out his phone to play some music of his choice. Before leaving he signed autographs for fans, with the radio host commenting that locals were excited to have him there. Watch the full report at Onda Cero La Palma.

Now that filming has resumed in Budapest, actor Amit Shah had some kind words to say about working with Henry after wrapping his part on the show.

Meanwhile, Executive Producer Lauren S. Hissrich gave fans a blurry The Witcher sneak peek courtesy of her smart phone, as she heads back to work.

The first season of the fantasy series is expected to wrap later this spring. More updates to come!

Cinematographer Jean Philippe Gossart has also been posting some beautiful shots from the different sets of the show on the Canary Islands.

Finally, a restaurant in La Palma hosted some of the members of the cast and they shared this photo today.
