'Nomis' & 'M:I6' Among Most Anticipated Films Of 2018

2017 was a pretty hectic year for Henry, as he filmed Nomis and Mission: Impossible 6. Now both films are among the most anticipated of 2018!

Looper included Nomis on its must-watch list:

Henry Cavill hunting a predator in the thriller Nomis, which follows an American police force who finally manage to entrap an online predator, only to be shocked to learn that his crimes go far beyond anything they initially expected. Although there's no word on who Cavill will play, director David Raymond (The Other Man) says he thinks people will be "blown away" by his performance.

Sir Ben Kingsley, Alexandra Daddario, Nathan Fillion, Minka Kelly, Stanley Tucci, Brendan Fletcher, Mpho Koaho, and Emma Tremblay are also set to appear in Nomis, which Raymond also wrote. Although details are still being kept tightly under wraps, with that cast, it's hard not to anticipate a thrilling adventure.

Even better, director David Raymond replied to the write-up with this exciting update...

Mission: Impossible 6 is creating its own buzz, with rumors that the first trailer may drop during the Super Bowl next month. Paramount confirmed it has bought ad spots, but according to Variety the studio is keeping the rest under wraps:

Paramount was unable to offer specifics on its Super Bowl plans, but the studio is slated to release the kids-oriented animated feature “Sherlock Gnomes” in March and is readying a new “Mission: Impossible” feature for later this year.

Paramount and Universal both advertised in last year’s Super Bowl LI, along with Walt Disney. Paramount used the broadcast to promote “Baywatch,” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron, and the release of “Transformers: The Last Knight.”

In the meantime, M:I6 is also mentioned in several must-watch lists of 2018.

Tom Cruise’s latest mission looks to be a direct continuation of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation with writer/director Christopher McQuarrie returning along with the ensemble cast. New additions include Angela Bassett and Superman actor Henry Cavill, although whether they’ll be playing friends or foes has yet to be revealed.

What It Is: The seemingly immortal Tom Cruise returns to his career-defining role of Ethan Hunt, the jacked-up super-spy who’s always finding himself hanging off a skyscraper in some random part of the world. Most of his friends are back too—Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and even Rebecca Ferguson, who made such an impression on critics in the last Mission: Impossible, Rogue Nation.

If You Need Convincing: This is the first Mission: Impossible really functioning as a direct sequel, continuing Ethan’s adventures with Ilsa Faust (Ferguson) and even promising the return of Rogue Nation’s villain (Sean Harris). Christopher McQuarrie has returned to direct, and Henry Cavill (Superman himself) is also in the cast.

Complex:

The Mission: Impossible franchise is 20-years-old. 2-0. At this point, do you even need a plot? No, you don’t, which works out since it’s not yet available. Just know this installment will be the first in 3-D because Ethan Hunt keeps getting riskier, the action keeps getting bigger, and the stunts keep blowing our minds. Alec Baldwin, Angela Bassett, and Henry Cavill all join Tom Cruise for this latest global spy expedition, along with perennial faves Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg

According to Ad Week, a marketing tech firm research reveals that a big part of the attention on M:I6 has to do with... you guessed it. The infamous moustache:

To create the list, the marketing technologies firm analyzed content engagement across more than 600,000 sites to gauge what’s capturing people’s attention and interest, ranking each film based on the volume of engagement (..)

Why Mission: Impossible 6 shows up here at No. 10 even though it does feature Rebecca Ferguson, the best part of the fifth movie, is initially beyond me. Amobee’s data shows, though, that it has to do with Henry Cavill’s mustache. Paramount reportedly refused to let Cavill shave the growth for Justice League reshoots needed when director Joss Whedon stepped in for Zack Snyder, requiring its digital removal.

Last summer Henry did  warn everyone that it was a force to be reckoned with..
