Yes, we've heard the news. The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, say Warner Brothers has yet to buy a TV spot for Sunday's Super Bowl. But who here really thinks Batman v Superman will have no presence at the big game ahead of the film's release next month? -- THR went on to say..
While Warner Bros. hasn't bought an ad proper, it's possible a promotional partner could plug Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, in their spot, sources say. (Rival studios say they wouldn't be surprised if some of the cast were at the Super Bowl.)
Our guess is that it will have something to do with the Doritos collaboration with director Zack Snyder. We agree with those thinking that stars may show up in person.. and you know who we're hoping to see!
According to Variety, DC Entertainment took the lead in TV ad spending recently, with Batman v Superman commercials showing up all over the place:
Ads placed for the superhero movie, which pits Ben Affleck’s Batman against Henry Cavill’s Superman, had an estimated media value of $7.74 million through Sunday, for just 11 national ad airings across 7 networks. Ads for blockbuster releases are typically placed on TV using a flood-the-zone approach, inundating viewers across a range of high- and low-cost availabilities, but DC Entertainment just executed on a high-cost, high-impact strategy, promoting “Batman v Superman” in a handful of pricey sports programming slots, including NFL Football and the College Football Playoff National Championships.
The strategy seems to be paying off.

“Junkie XL is an incredibly insightful film composer. It was a perfect idea for us to work together on the ‘Batman v Superman’ score,” explained Academy-Award-winning composer Zimmer. Grammy nominee Junkie XL showed equal excitement at the pairing, saying, “Hans has an incredible legacy, and I was extremely thrilled when he approached me to work on ‘Batman v Superman’ with him.”
The composers discussed their close working relationship with director Zack Snyder. “Zack allows us to try things we haven’t tried before. He’s very supportive of the eccentricities that we bring to this,” says Zimmer. Junkie XL concurred. “He’s very open and accepting of our ideas, and infuses the creative process with an energy that inspires you.”
"Hans and Tom (Junkie XL) created an incredibly compelling and interesting new musical world for Batman, while continuing to expand on the amazing world and themes Hans had previously created for Superman,” noted director Zack Snyder. “By aligning their vision with my perspective and seeing the characters anew through the lens of the film they were able to support the visual aspects of movie in a way that elevates the film to another level. In so many ways, they become the final texture, the final note in the process of creating the world.”
“This electrifying collaboration brings us such brilliant new character themes,”
commented WaterTower Music head Jason Linn, “While we've been fortunate to work several times with both composers individually, this experience has been uniquely thrilling.”

We knew Zack Snyder wouldn't disappoint, when it came totossing the ball back to J.J.Abrams in their fun nerdy competition.. but we forgot about fanboy #1!
The audience reacted to the new footage (that included that HUGE reveal we told you about), with cheers and a roaring round of applause. Here are a few of our favorite moments, see more screencaps.
Let us know what you thought..
March 25th can't get here fast enough.. Gooooo Henry!
The short clip is literally a staring contest between Batman and Superman (who apparently thinks masks are silly). Everyone's super serious about the whole affair, too (..) But don't worry, you'll get to see more of these incredible brooding stares on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, because apparently that's where nerd things happen on television now.
We’ll save a fuller reaction for then, but it’s worth noting, since everyone on social media is talking about it, that this is probably not the film’s actual portrayal of Superman. My guess is that we just saw a paranoid nightmare Batman has about a world ruled by Superman.
Dream sequence or not, we can't wait to see the full trailer. We're staying on top of the very latest for you, as we count down to March 25, 2016.
So I’ve finally taken the leap into social media! And here’s a little treat for you all in the form of a sneak peak of...
