The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Trailer Keeps Getting Some Loving!


It's been almost two months since The Man from U.N.C.L.E. trailer was released, and people can't stop talking about it! -- The movie critics over at Regal Cinemas just reviewed it for their weekly show, and not surprisingly LOVED IT. Give it a watch.



When The Man from U.N.C.L.E. trailer was released, Warner Brothers set up an official site, and its UK branch now has a twitter as well. Make sure to give them a follow for the latest updates on the film.


And the poster sightings continue! -- This latest one was spotted in Paris.. Vous êtes un homme très beau, Solo ;)


Metro Weekly also just mentioned The Man from U.N.C.L.E. on its 2015 preview:

A CIA agent (Henry Cavill) and KGB operative (Armie Hammer) must work together in this 1960s action comedy to bring down a mysterious organization seeking to sell nuclear weapons. It's a typically bombastic and enjoyable piece from director Guy Ritchie (yes, he still makes films). (8/14)

RMCTF: Henry Updates His Message On Fundraising Page


Henry recently reached his fundraising goal for The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, and he's updated his message for you!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donating to my charity The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.

I chose to support this charity, not only because of my obvious familial connection, but because of the deep respect I have for the Royal Marines as men and as a corps.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and the RMCTF during the Gibraltar Rock Run, it was a great honour and pleasure to take part in this special occasion.

I have reached over my goal for this event in support of the RMCTF and I thank everyone again who has donated. This page will now close, but a new will be opened for all future events.

The fundraising page remains open for now, with Henry exceeding his target by raising £20,050 (roughly $29,824) for the charity which he's an ambassador for. We can't wait to bring you news on whatever event comes next. In the meantime, fans in Gibraltar are still talking about his October visit!

Fans have also been supporting the charity, by buying hoodies like the one Henry has been wearing.



You guys rock, and we hope we can count on you as we continue our support for Henry and his charity work. Happy weekend, everyone!

Tux Love: Henry With A Very Lucky Girl At The BAFTAs Afterparty


After seeing chuidelphine's gorgeous shot with a very handsome Henry Cavill at the BAFTAs afterparty last month, all we have to say is IN WHAT UNIVERSE DOES ZAC EFRON BEAT HIM AS THE HOTTEST GUY???

The Hollywood Reporter: "Henry Cavill Is Perfect For Superman"


We love when the Hollywood trades recognize talent and give them a shout-out. In its new A-list issue, The Hollywood Reporter focused on British stars and of course Henry is mentioned!

"Finding the next young British star has become a huge deal in Hollywood: I've noticed a lot of agents in America will come to the U.K. to go to the theaters and drama schools looking for the next hot thing. Initially, interest may have been a question of cost because you could get a talented British actor for not-so-much money. You can look back at The Wire, which hadDominic West and Idris Elba, as one example. Dominic absolutely landed that leading role, and his accent wasn't brilliant, but they didn't care. But now it's become about just looking for the best actor. Most of the superheroes now are British. Henry Cavill is perfect for Superman, and Christian Bale was perfect for Batman. It's about casting the role with the best person you can find, and in Britain, we grew up on Starsky & Hutch, Kojak and Hawaii Five-0; we grew up with American accents, so British actors are able to have those accents as opposed to American actors, who would only see a few British shows."

And you know Henry nailed that Supes/Clark accent! -- The piece includes this cool illustration with Henry's likeness.. but what's with the red shorts. Out with the red shorts!

Henry Cavill as Superman

Henry Cavill returns as Superman, reprising his role and pebbled tights from Man of Steel. Only this time, the last son of Krypton is making room on the marquee for another caped crusader. Based on this grey-skied first image released by Warner Bros. last July, he doesn’t seem too happy about it.

Supes is owning it! -- Henry talked about his love and respect for Superman, in his interview with ShortList magazine. It most definitely shows on the big screen. He also mentioned a favorite shirt of his.. and its makers took the time to thank him on twitter. It made our Thursday.  


Finally, the second round of BuzzFeed's "Hot Guy March Madness" is up, and Henry is facing off against Zac Efron who is a bit ahead. Let's get Henry to the next round everyone! -- VOTE, VOTE, VOTE.

New Behind The Scenes Pic From The Man From U.N.C.L.E.


It's becoming all too painfully clear that director Guy Ritchie will not be gifting us with Henry pics whenever he shares an update (big booh). So while we wait for the next promo photo to hit, how about we remember when/where the scenes in the BTS pic were filmed. Henry was on location with The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in Naples at the end of September of 2013, and plenty of fans got to meet him that day.


That's around the same time we got these hot shots as Henry prepared for a scene in the water, took a lunch break, and came back to land from the ocean set of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. looking dapper in his suit. Catch our coverage and see all the pics in HQ. It's been a blast following this film from beginning to end. Next up, its August 14 release!

'Immortals' Sequel In The Works, Relativity: "Henry Is The Star"


Relativity's Media CEO, has just delivered some huge news. It sounds like Henry could be back as Theseus, in the sequel to Immortals!

In his keynote, Kavanaugh also said he would like to shoot the sequel to Relativity's Immortals in India. When asked by THR how far the project had developed, Kavanaugh said: "We are early on... the script is almost ready, and Henry Cavill (Superman) is the star. We would like to explore the idea of shooting an entire movie in India that can end up grossing $300 million-400 million worldwide. We are also thinking about casting one of the lead roles with an Indian actor. The two industries (India and the U.S.) can be unified to create something special."

We don't want to read too much into the statement this early on, but we would love to see Henry back as the brave warrior who goes on to become immortal. We'll bring you updates as we get them. Sexy Solo Ready For His Moment In The Spotlight


Solo is so hot he's breaking hearts via poster, and we're actually really jealous of Jordan and Carlyn!


 The Man from U.N.C.L.E. posters are popping up around the world, as the film's August 14 release date gets closer.

Henry talked about Solo in his new interview with ShortList, calling him “an arsehole with a heart,” and describing what he liked about his look for the film:

Cavill’s character in The Man From UNCLE is Napoleon Solo. Or, ‘the one played by Robert Vaughn’ for those of us who spent childhood Saturday teatimes being entertained by TV repeats – always featuring men in roll necks – from this strange, colourful decade our parents banged on about. Solo, a postwar art thief-turned-Cold War agent, is the dapper playboy – who Cavill describes as “an arsehole with a heart” – working alongside Soviet spying machine Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer in the film, David McCallum when it was on TV). It’s Solo’s look that inspired the shoot. Cavill likes this.


“I really do,” he says. “I was looking at some photos of myself in The Man From UNCLE, and I thought, ‘Those are really great.' I love wearing classic suits. And the great thing about the Sixties is that they had a little bit of flair. You can go big flair, or just a little bit, and I like a little bit. I’m more of a classic guy; I’m not outspoken, so it’s nice to wear something that looks so sharp and has a bit of colour.”




And The Hollywood Reporter knows a good thing when it sees it, putting The Man from U.N.C.L.E. on its list of this summer's hottest films:

August 14: The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Based on the classic TV spy series, the film centers on a CIA agent who teams up with a KGB operative to thwart a terrorist threat. With Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Hugh Grant.

Flashback Sunday: Irene Shares Her Pics From BAFTA Night


Irene had already shared her cute pic with Henry at the BAFTAs last month, and today she posted more pics from that night, along with his autograph. Thank you!

Henry has always looked amazing in a well-tailored suit or tux. And photographer Elin Horndfelt reminded us of that, when she shared this gorgeous behind the scenes pic from his Dunhill promo shoot.



In his new interview with ShortList, Henry mentioned that it was during that campaign, that he wore his first proper suit:

Can you remember your first tailored suit?

I know it was Dunhill. I worked with Dunhill for a couple of fragrances, so they did my first suit. I can’t remember the details, but I remember being extraordinarily proud of it because it was Dunhill – a lovely English company.

Could it be the one in the picture? -- Either way, that's one timeless shot.

Henry was out enjoying the game between England v France with several former rugby players, including Ben and Thom. Thanks to Fran and Thom for sharing their hot pics. And what injury?.. It's good to see Henry's eye is almost back to normal, after he was hurt playing rugby last weekend (perhaps with these guys?). Happy weekend everyone, and thank you Henry for being the best with your fans.

Hey Henry!

It's nice to see that bruised eye looking A LOT better. Henry got hurt playing rugby last weekend, and in those pictures you could tell it was a big ouchie. He's currently back home preparing for Stratton, and fans have been running into him. Lucky London!

U.N.C.L.E. Poster Spotted In Mesa, Arizona Theater

Lois Hawley lives in Mesa, Arizona -- and today she spotted the first The Man from U.N.C.L.E. poster in a theater! 

Warner Brothers released the poster along with the first awesome trailer for the film last month, but it's super cool to see the one sheet in lights.

Co-Presenters Refuse To Do Remaining Shows Without Clarkson

UPDATE 3/25: Jeremy Clarkson's contract has not been renewed by the BBC. But there's still a chance we'll get to see Henry's episode, according to the official statement below. Stay tuned! (Thanks @KevinPamplin).

The BBC must now look to renew Top Gear for 2016. This will be a big challenge and there is no point in pretending otherwise. I have asked Kim Shillinglaw to look at how best we might take this forward over the coming months. I have also asked her to look at how we put out the last programmes in the current series.   


The chances of seeing Henry on Top Gear (at least this season) are not looking good today, after the latest details on the Clarkson investigation per Variety:

“Top Gear” presenters James May and Richard Hammond refused to shoot the show while their co-host Jeremy Clarkson was suspended.

The BBC wanted to press ahead with the final three episodes in the present season without Clarkson, while an investigation is carried out into allegations that he punched the show’s producer Oisin Tymon, according to a BBC executive.

The episodes would have used several recorded segments with Clarkson, and another with May and Hammond in the studio, but negotiations stalled, the unnamed source told the Daily Mirror.

“They didn’t want to do it without Jeremy so the talks didn’t get off the ground. There is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them,” the exec said.

Henry was supposed to appear in a segment where he takes a lap in a reasonably priced car, and at last check was still booked for the show. We'll keep you posted as we get more information.
