The Rodeo FX team put together an excellent panel at Comic-Con, showing how they created the monsters in Season 2 of The Witcher. While they didn't allow videos or pictures of the presentation, speaker Jordan Soles did answer a few questions explaining the process.
Geralt's fight with the Myriapod started out with Henry basically doing a fight scene by himself, which Soles commented was impressive to the artists. They then worked to create "Mimi" as they lovingly nicknamed the monster.
The second piece of video we saw, showed Geralt fighting the Leshy and the behind-the-scenes work that it took to create it.
With filming underway on Season 3, we look forward to seeing Geralt take on new monsters.
Huge props to Rodeo FX for all the hard work they put in to make them so realistic.
