Countdown to 2018: Henry's Workout Update From FL

Henry has been enjoying his holiday break in South Florida, and today he shared a new fitness update that has us feeling a little guilty about our post-Christmas routine (a lot of leftovers to go through). Perhaps he's already training for The Durrell Challenge which he'll be hosting again in May!

He's also apparently still filming Mission: Impossible 6 in London (moustache on point as always), that will resume filming in early 2018. Just a few hours left until the new year... make them count!

As we count down to the July 27th release of the movie, the anticipation is growing! with M:I6 featured in Total Film's winter preview (via @fergusonweb).

Sexiest Man Of The Year: Henry Among The Top Ten

Glamour UK just revealed its list of The Sexiest Men of the Year, and Henry is in the top ten!

The announcement came with this caption:

7. Henry Cavill

Born: 1983

Single? Sorry, Henry went public with his new girlfriend Lucy Cork this summer and, before you think you could see her off no trouble, take note, that she’s a stuntwoman.

See Him Next: As Tom Cruise’s right-hand-man in Mission Impossible 6.

In 2013 Henry won the Sexiest Man of the Year title, voted on by fans. So you could say we've been slacking, but with the release of Nomis...

and M:I6 next year (Sexiest Villain perhaps?)...

We'll be ready to take him back to the top!

Slowly but surely, Henry is getting closer to that black belt. He's wasted no time in getting back to his Jiu-Jitsu fitness routine in London, since returning from Ace Comic Con earlier this week. Filming is also still going on for Mission: Impossible 6 so we hope he gets a break for the holidays!

Thanks for the photos Henry!

UPDATE: Yuqian met Henry today and shared his cool moment.

Henry Teases Big Stunt, Gives Kudos To Treasure Hunt Artists

An exciting post from Henry, as he told us all about the artists taking part in his treasure hunt at Ace Comic Con (check out their drawings).

He also teased a big Mission: Impossible 6 stunt he was taking part in and we wouldn't be surprised if it involves heights, given what director Chris McQuarrie has been sharing lately.

Production continues in London, after Tom Cruise's summer injury forced a delay. At last check, filming was expected to wrap by the end of the year.

Confirmed: Henry Shot 'Justice League' Scenes In Black Suit

It was the picture that launched a thousand theories. Back in August of 2016, Henry was in the middle of filming Justice League when he shared this cryptic photo of the Superman suit.

A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on

Fans debated for months whether it was the "black suit" or if he had just used a filter... now we finally have the answer. Cinematographer Fabian Wagner has just confirmed to Inverse that Henry did in fact shoot scenes in that black suit:

“There were [scenes shot] (..) “It’s a cool looking costume. Sadly, we didn’t see that either in the final cut.”

During the promo tour for the film, Henry was asked about the suit and the pic he posted and he neither confirmed or denied that he had worn it... keeping everyone guessing just a little longer (2:04).

Of course now we all know it never made it to the big screen. As much as we really did like the version of Supes that ended up in theaters, it's also a bit heartbreaking to think of what could have been.

Maybe one day that Justice League footage sees the light of day.
