Happy Friday: Henry And Kal Say Hi From London

Is it possible for someone to beat Henry at his selfie game?.. you're looking right at him!

Best way to kick off the weekend. Have a great one everyone.

'M:I6' Director Answers Questions From Fans On Twitter

Director Chris McQuarrie's Twitter is the best thing that could happen to a movie buff. He updates during filming and shares commentary, but the best part are his insightful and funny Q&As.

Here's the trick though... every few weeks the Mission: Impossible 6 director erases everything  from his Twitter. So read it while you can! or screencap your favorite answers like we do ;)

That last answer by itself, is the reason we have so much respect for Chris McQuarrie.

The M:I6 production will be going on hiatus because of Tom Cruise's injury, but that doesn't mean the work stops for all. Read the director's latest comments to Deadline below.

Flashback: Juan Shares Pic With Henry At FL Equestrian Event

Pre-Nomis hair alert!

Juan just shared his photo with Henry from earlier this year.

jmatute_official: "Throwback to when I met @henrycavill, aka Superman, at the Palm Beach Masters. Cool guy."

Henry spent several months in Florida, before heading to Winnipeg to film Nomis with that longer hair and beard. Juan added a few more details about their meeting on our IG post:

"So cool!! It was great speaking with him and knowing that he enjoys attending equestrian events. Maybe we will meet again in the near future."🏼

Henry does enjoy horse events, and back in February this lucky fan also got a chance to chat with him during a similar outing in Florida. Just last month, Henry attended a Gold Cup Polo match with his girlfriend, Lucy Cork in the UK.

Thanks for sharing, Juan!

Studio Confirms 'M:I6' Prod. Halt, Keeps Summer Release Date

Paramount has released an official statement (via Deadline), following Tom Cruise's injury on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 over the weekend:

“During production on the latest Mission: Impossible film, Tom Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt. Production will go on hiatus while Tom makes a full recovery, and the film remains on schedule to open July 27, 2018. Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can’t wait to share the film with everyone next summer.”

We're excited to hear that M:I6's release date is not affected and that Tom will be okay.

Image: Chris McQuarrie/Paramount

Earlier director Chris McQuarrie shared his exclusive interview with Empire, where he talks about how the production is handling the delay. It's really a must read!

Variety was first to report on Paramount's plan to shift production elements to deal with the hiatus.

According to The Wrap, filming is now expected to finish by the end of the year.

What we don't know is how this delay could affect Henry and the Justice League promotion, since you're dealing with different studios. But we're sure in the end it will all get worked out.

Of course this is all you guys want to know..

Priorities.

Look for updates on M:I6 as they come in.

'Nomis' Director Shares New Look From The Editing Room

You can feel the chill in the air, just by looking at this screencap from Nomis. Director David Raymond is in the middle of editing the film shot in Winnipeg earlier this year, and today he shared this new look at Henry's costar Alexandra Daddario. They both play police officers, who find themselves following the trail of a dangerous online predator.

Nomis will be out next year.

Vanessa Kirby Takes Center Stage In Latest 'M:I6' Set Photos

As we follow the Mission: Impossible 6 production, we're now getting a much closer look at Vanessa Kirby's character.

The actress and director Chris McQuarrie have shared these behind the scenes pics from the M:I6 set in England, that show some kind of nightclub setting (that looks like cinematographer Rob Hardy with the long hair).

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

In this top photo, Kirby appears to be chatting with Tom Cruise who we saw her kissing in Paris. Another night she was at the same set as Henry.

Hardy also posted a photo of Kirby (that goes along with this one) in a different outfit but similar set.

It will be interesting to find out who she plays in the film and whether she's there to help the latest mission.. or prevent it. Mission: Impossible 6 will hit theaters July 27, 2018.

Kal Reminding Us Why Pets Make Everything Better

A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on

No matter what kind of day you're having, your pet will always be there to comfort you.

In this case it looks like Kal is saying, what.. you gotta go back to work already?

Henry shared the cute new pic of his fur baby, as he films Mission: Impossible 6 in England.

That trailer bed sure looks comfy.. as it should be for Henry's #1.

EW's Fall Movie Preview Includes 'Justice League' Reveals

Check this out!

Today Entertainment Weekly gave us a sneak peek at their Fall Movie Preview, that includes a look at Justice League. This is just revealed concept art of the Flying Fox featured in the film.

We got a glimpse of it in the new trailer that debuted at Comic-Con, but this closer look comes with some telling quotes from Batman himself.

"..Batman unites a team of metahumans—WonderWoman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher)…and probably at least one not-quite-dead Kryptonian. They’re defending Earth from a cosmic threat. “He brings them to the Batcave and lets them in on the central conflict of the story, who the enemy is,” Affleck says. “There’s a little bit of a Magnificent Seven aspect to it."

MAGNIFICENT SEVEN!!??

A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on

Read the rest at EW. The Fall Movie Preview goes on sale Friday.

UPDATE: Here's a bit more from Ben, describing how it's been like to work with two directors in the film and the Batman we'll see on the big screen.

P.S. We don't think that's Superman at the end..

Production Update: Henry Introduces Us To 'M:I6' Stuntman

What did we say about that very WHITE bathroom..

Someone is getting roughed up! who are we kidding.. there's a 99.9 % chance it's Henry.

Today he shared a new photo from the Mission: Impossible 6 set at Warner Bros. Leavesden, where he's been filming since production wrapped in New Zealand last month. We know the stunt team he works with is ace, having watched them in action in previous Tom Cruise films. But we didn't know this!

Liang later thanked Henry for the shout-out on his own Instagram:

"Henry you are an amazing and talented person, thank you for those nice words, so glad to work with you."

Mission: Impossible 6 is set for a July 27, 2018 release.

P.S. Here is a look at those ice castles Henry mentioned in his post.

UPDATE: Director Chris McQuarrie has shared some telling photos from the M:I6 set, with Liang in a much more threatening pose.

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on
And is Vanessa Kirby part of that violent bathroom scene? she was prepared to cut someone last time we heard from her. Gulp.

Henry's Birthday Wishes For Ben The Bat

They grow up so fast.

It's hard to believe Henry's bat son, Ben is turning two today and what a furry cutie he is. Just don't say that out loud in front of Kal because apparently there is some sibling rivalry going on.

Henry adopted Ben when he was just a few months old, and since then the bat has been living at Durrell's Jersey Zoo.

We're always happy to hear how Ben is doing from Henry, whenever we catch up with him (1/2). As you know he's an ambassador for Durrell and has raised valuable funds to help the charity continue its conservation work around the world. Here's how you can get involved..

Happy Birthday Ben, hope you get some tasty treats! (P.S. Kal, you'll always be the #1 Super Puppy to us.. #travelingbear).

Henry also left his birthday wishes for Jason Momoa on his IG.

Best Supes.

Shiny Treat: 'Nomis' Now Part Of Henry's Coin Tradition

You remember this Winnipeg moment.. Henry having a brain freeze while he filmed Nomis in March. He mentioned the harsh conditions in the note he sent the cast and crew as part of his coin tradition. Bev gave us a look!

Henry started giving out the coins after he wrapped Man of Steel. We've also gotten a peek at the coins he sent out for The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Batman v Superman, and most recently Justice League.

We can't wait to see the M:I6 one!

Nomis is set for a 2018 release.

Latest From The 'Mission: Impossible 6' Set In England

An impeccably clean *white* bathroom in an action film?.. you know there's gonna to be blood!

At least that's our best guess, after director Chris McQuarrie shared a few pics from the set of Mission: Impossible 6 this week.

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

We don't know who is involved in the scene, but Vanessa Kirby did give us a hint about her character..

A post shared by Vanessa Kirby (@vanessa__kirby) on

The only time we've seen her on set, she was sharing a kiss with Ethan in Paris. Now we're thinking that may not end well.

Look for the latest production news as we get it.

Comic Book Artist Hears From Superman, New 'JL' Promo Images

Leave it to Henry to kickstart August with his very British humor. When Canadian comic book artist Jason Fabok shared the Superman image he was working on sans infamous moustache, Henry had the best response.. replying to the post:

"I'm not angry....I'm just disappointed."

Jason reacted with the drawing below.. the reign of the moustache continues!

Now that we're just over three months away from Justice League hitting theaters, new official merchandise is going on sale, and it includes a new look at Supes.

See all the merch items in HQ at wbshop.com (here's the direct Justice League link).

The images below are reportedly official promo art, but without a source we can't really confirm. They are very cool.

Justice League toys have also started making their way to store shelves, and Steven Biscotti shared with us a close-up of Henry as Superman (thanks so much). Looking fierce, Supes!

A few weeks ago we showed you the Italian drink promo linked to Justice League, and now Vulcano out of Brazil is getting ready for its own campaign.

Latest 'M:I6' Production Photos, 'Justice League' Promo & Contest

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

Mission: Impossible 6 is currently filming in England, and this weekend director Chris McQuarrie posted these two set pics on his Instagram account. Henry also shared his own pics from the Warner Bros. Studios outside of London, where the movie is currently in production.

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

The additional Justice League scenes that include Henry and his now infamous moustache, are also reportedly being shot there. By the way, this piece below does a really good job explaining how much time and work is involved in getting rid of the facial hair.

If you're not too familiar with the villain Superman will reportedly go after in Justice League, DC has broken it down for you..

And check out what we ran into at our local theater!

Since we haven't seen much of Henry in the promo material, fans have been sharing their versions of Superman. Director Zack Snyder praised this one made by digital artist, George Evangelista.

If you have mad skills like him, you may want to enter this new Justice League fan art contest.. the grand prize is a trip to the premiere in November:  jlfanartcontest.com

Good luck!
