The 'Making The Witcher' documentary just dropped on Netflix. The half-hour takes you behind the scenes of the hit fantasy show that is now in production for Season 2.

Season 1 filming was tough for Henry...months of waking up at 3am, 14 hour days, rolling lunches, training in the gym for hours after an already full day. So, what I loved the most about this documentary was seeing Henry smile and laugh and in such good spirits on set. Smiling as his armour is put on, smiling during intense fight training, smiling even though his eyes were so sore from wearing Geralt's contact lenses.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to get this while we wait for season 2. I love BTS stuff, especially the parts when you see the actors having fun. They could splice together an hour of Joey and Henry joking around off camera, and I'd watch that. Not to take away from all the brilliant and hard work Henry and everyone else on the team do. Of course I appreciate that, but the fun stuff is good to see too :)
ReplyDeleteHenry�� He's so hard working and so positive. I love his attitude. The whole team looks really nice and to genuinely care about the show. This makes me happy because I know how much Henry love this project and this character and how much heart he put in it. I just hope season 2 will give us more of Geralt's past, the trial of the grasses and what his fellow witcher's mean to him and more scenes between the main trio. S1 had them isolated to show how much they need each other and being a family. In s2 I hope we'll see this family formed.

ReplyDeleteHenry was phenomenal as Geralt and he deserves all the attention he gets. This was definatelly his year and I'm expecting his popularity will rise even more in the future. I just wish we'd get more Geralt and Henry in the documentary but everyone deserved their moment to shine. Hopefully s2 will give us even more of Geralt's backstory and evolve his character now that he's heading to Kaer Morhen.
