The Witcher: Filming Moves To La Palma, Gran Canaria Set Pics

Week 1 of The Witcher filming in the Canary Islands is done, who is ready for week 2?!

The local news media is reporting that filming will move to La Palma on Wednesday, after the cast and crew shot at several locations around Gran Canaria this past week. The pics below are a bit spoilerish, but so far Geralt has not been spotted (other than in Henry's new video).

Executive Producer Lauren S. Hissrich has also been posting some beautiful photos from the different sets -- See them all on her Instagram.

More than four hundred people are taking part in the next round of filming including the cast, crew and many extras.

The Witcher is expected to film at various La Palma locations for about two weeks before filming returns to Budapest. The Netflix fantasy series is based on the novels by Andrej Sapkowski, with Henry playing monster-hunter, Geralt of Rivia.

You can read more about next week's filming at El Time and El Diario. See all the pics from the last few days at La Provincia and Canarias 7 (1/2). Much more to come!
