  1. better than superman if you ask me. And as an executive producer so he won't have to face shit. I only wish we didn't loose him as geralt :( I'll forever hate what Lauren did to the franchise. Forgetting Netflix, welcome Amazon prime.

  2. Yesterday I was sad (unrelated with supes news) today I woke up super happy with this. He's finally producing. It's his dream and he loves w40k and I couldn't be more excited for him. I don't know much about w40k but I love for years the Witcher books and I couldn't agree more with his idea of what this world is and means to fans, so I trust him with my eyes closed. I can't wait. And as someone said about these news are better than his return as superman in my opinion. It's something he can build from the start, choose the right people who will share his vision and do something amazing. And with the financial support of Amazon it can be phenomenal.

  3. Omg yes yes yes!!! If he chooses the right writers and directors it can be the fan favorite adaptation since LOTR. Warhammer 40000 has million and million of fans and with someone like Henry on the helm it could be Amazon's most popular series

  4. This makes me happy-er, still will miss my Superman on the big screen though. I'm done with DC, its over for me.

  5. I will miss my geralt, THE geralt but I'm super happy for him. He made me love the Witcher ad I can't wait to fall in love with this universe as well. (and lol when the Witcher and Netflix cry for disrespecting the source material and loosing him 😂😁)

  6. Sad as the Superman news is, I think he's dodging a bullet by not being involved with the mess that is DC. Enough has been said about the Witcher debacle, but that one pains me the most.

However, I'm really happy to see him moving onward so quickly, and to something he is passionate about - as an EP, no less! I know nothing about the Warhammer game, other than it's really popular. If and when the project comes to fruition, I'll be there to watch =)

  7. It's the end of TWN, the end of DC (personally I never cared, I'd only watch it for him and Amy), welcome Warhammer 40000. Finally a project he can helm and not depend on the idiocy of others.

  8. OMG I knew it!!! What's that saying--"when one door closes, another door opens." Sounds like Henry finally kicked in a door to make his own way. I'm SOOO glad Henry is finally done with Superman. Looking forward to Warhammer project. Congrats!!!

  9. I will miss him as Geralt, he was my favorite role of his in an atrocious unfortunately adaptation. I will always love the books and he will always be my Geralt. But now he has the chance to show these idiots producers, who take a beloved ip and trash it, how it is done and what respect fans and the source material means. I can't wait. I love him, he has integrity and he's super intelligent, more than Hollywood producers can handle. Show them Geralt!

  10. Ah yesss! I dared to hope the rumours of a WH40K project were true. Henry and Natalie have the opportunity to show honouring source and respecting fans is strength not weakness..

  11. I hope the Witcher Netflix will sink and the Warhammer 40k is Amazon's most successful show. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

    1. All this attempt recently from some writers/ the showrunner with the leaks to make him look bad will backfire to them badly. We all saw s2 and we know who respects the fans and the source material. I'm not even watching s3, he has a better project. They deserve their projects to tank and to never get a job again.

    2. It has already backfired on them. I was on the fence to watch s3 but now not anymore. And I'm unsibcribing from Netflix the moment glass onion comes out. Let's make s4 a non existing. I was thinking giving s3 a chance, I wouldn't watch s4 but I didn't want it canceled for the other actors but after how the writing team and the showrunner especially is treating this whole issue makes me sick. "a new energy?, moving to great unexpected directions now, Lauren is the best showrunner ever?" and not a word about Henry's work. He made the show work. Do you think anyone would keep watching after ep1 if he wasn't geralt? If Liam was geralt from the get go the show would get a second season with this writing? And insult the book and game fans was a bad move. It was an adaptation ffs, of course these fans should be listened. Not to mention that despite the sensesless changes, the writing was horrible. That's why nobody loved s2, bc the writing was bad. The best parts of s2 were those who Henry insisted on keeping. And that's what hurt Lauren's ego, that everyone knows it and love him for that. Let her bring her new energy and along with it a new big bad as well written as voleth meir and less scenes with the Hansa bc she hates character moments and less and less viewers.

    3. It is amazing how close Lauren & co have come to actual slander. I came across yesterday a tabloid that did outright slander Henry regarding the Witcher. I won't name the article because that trash doesn't deserve any attention. I will watch S3 for Cavill, but quite likely nothing else. And if I ever see Lauren (or James Gunn's) name on anything again, it will be an instant hard pass.

    4. A creator of another show said that Netflix counts the first few days as a barometer as to whether renew a show or not. That's why Lauren doesnt give a shit about the quality of the show or the recast. Or the complains or the fans or the fact that s2 did worst than s1. So we can watch s3 for Henry after a week or a month. His performance will still stay legendary and get praise. I won't give Lauren another season. I'm done with her

  12. They needed him not the other way around. He'll do fine. Better with his new project as an exec. They on the other hand, if the writing continue to be s2 level... Sorry not sorry.

  13. Imagine having a such beloved franchise as the Witcher and one of the most beloved actor nowadays who is a huge fan and knows the world like no other and mess it so bad. I can't wait to see what he'll do with w40k. I predict it will be one of the most beloved series on Amazon.

  14. The problem and what JG but also LHS said recently is that they believe the fans who complain on line is the vast minority. In today's era were streaming devices depend on subscriptions they still think the fans on internet is the minority. Few years ago when casual fans would go to the movies once a month and open the TV and watch what was on it I can accept that logic. But today, when you actively subscribe and pay for your TV program, these are not the people that don't care for the internet that do that. They are the majority and they still treat these fans with disrespect.

    1. Even if the base fan group is a minority compared to the general audience, it's a poor lookout to alienate the people that made the IP popular in the first place. There's no original stories in film/tv anymore; everything is a rebooted franchise or adapted novel, and almost always inferior to the original.

    2. Exactly, they are those who care, who will spread the word of mouth, who will bring others, friends, family to watch. They have the passion and you alienate them by showing them how little they matter?

  15. Unpopular opinion here:I think Henry will be far better building his own cinematic universe with w40k than any superman movie. Chances are the movie would be controversial, unless it was developed by Chris Mcquaire or another profilic director and writer but the studios don't want this) they have turned down great scripts over the years for bs - I remember reading the original script for Indiana 4 before it became the movie we saw and it was a masterpiece yet it was axed for the crystal skull) ). In w40k he can finally show his own vision, honor the lore and please the fans. What I don't think I'll get over soon is how Netflix let him go and didn't make him an exec after s2 and have him creative control to honor the books like the majority of fans demanded and instead they stuck with Lauren no fan wants her fiction. But as I mentioned before studios are notorious for bad decisions. Henry will come on top at the end and people will see it.

    1. I agree with you 100%

    2. I agree, I'm more interested in Argylle, Guy's Ritchie ww2 movie, and his own 40k cinematic universe and who knows what's more than any DC movie. He deserved better than them.

  16. Imagine if big names direct & star in w40k. Henry knows people and Amazon has the money. This has the potential to be as big as GOT's first few seasons.

  17. And when all other attempts failed now "Henry gave much to the series and will be given an epic send off and please watch our show cause we'll stay closer to the source material." I can't start describing how much I want the series to fail without Henry and s4 to be given just 4 episodes. It's what this show runner deserves. She's full of shit and fake promises and she ruined my favorite fictional universe and Henry's dream role. And if by a miracle hell frozen and she'll start listen to the fans (which by the way less than a week ago she said the majority loved voleth meir and blood origin makes more changes to Ciri's ancestry's so it all bs) its too late. She already ruined the show. If Netflix had some sense they would removed her and would give gold to Henry to come back in s4 with his own terms and an exec role and a whole new team. As it is the show doesn't deserve anything but a quick cancelation and to be remembered as a failure.
