It's Official: Henry Wins 'Best Hero' At The MTV Movie Awards

Congratulations to Henry for winning Best Hero at the MTV Movie Awards and to all of his fans for making it possible. He couldn't be at the show because he's about to start filming Batman vs. Superman in Detroit. The results were not announced during the telecast (don't get us started on that), but were confirmed by EW and USA Today. So happy for you Henry, go get them Man of Steel!

Henry Up For 'Best Hero' At The MTV Movie Awards

MTV has just announced the nominees for its Movie Awards and Henry nabbed the only nomination for Man of Steel (just like at the Critics' Choice Awards). Superman representing! - Henry is up for Best Hero and the polls are now open so vote, vote, VOTE. You will also be able to vote via Instagram, Twitter and Vine. The MTV Movie Awards will be presented April 13 in L.A., right around the time filming begins on Man of Steel 2 in Detroit. Let's show the world Henry has the most supportive fans. He deserves this award, let's get it for him! 

MTV Movie Awards: Publicist Cites Scheduling Conflict, Looking Ahead To Cinemacon

So we finally have the answer on why Henry didn't attend the MTV Movie Awards, despite him being on the seating chart and presenters list. His publicist issued this statement via:

"Henry is not at the Movie Awards tonight. He was mistakenly included on the presenters list prior to us letting them know he was not able to participate."

So what now?.. first off, let's not forget the awesome new clip we got of General Zod's message from space. (UPDATE: we've added the UK version at the top. You can see Superman shield better and Henry's name in the credits!).

Encrypted billboard messages led us to IWillFindHim.com that immediately after the clip was released began a 48 hour countdown. To what you ask? - our guess is to Cinemacon's Warner Bros. presentation Tuesday. That's where we had initially heard the trailer was going to be released, and it looks like that is still the case. UPDATE 3: Warner Bros. has posted the first transmission from General Zod and there's a new 48 hour countdown at IWillFindHim.com. (which puts it around the time the studio makes its presentation at Cinemacon Tuesday night.) So what does this mean for the MTV Awards? the same clip will air again/extended version? or plans scrapped and that was it? stay tuned!   

UPDATE 2: Movie Viral seems to have confirmation 3rd Man of Steel trailer will premiere at the MTV Awards tonight. So we're back to being on Henry watch. Stay tuned!

UPDATE 1: after Henry's pic was pulled from the presenters list and the official facebook announcement was deleted, an unofficial FB site reached out to his management for clarification. They confirmed he is not presenting, but didn't clarify whether he's attending. Read more. 

It's almost time!

Henry is presenting at the MTV Movie Awards, and hopefully we'll get plenty of chances to see him throughout the night. We already told you where he'll be sitting, and we'll hook you up with a live red carpet feed as soon as it's up. The carpet is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm EDT. MTV will also have its All Access live streaming cameras backstage, so just be ready to spot Henry! - and who knows, maybe we'll even get a new Man of Steel clip. The actual show kicks off at 9 pm EDT.

Confirmed: Henry Presenting At The 'MTV Movie Awards'

And the BIG surprises keep coming!, first we got the news that Henry is on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly, and now we hear he's going to be presenting at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. The news broke when reporter Katie Krause took this pic of the seating chart, after mentioning Henry in a tweet. MTV now lists Henry on its list of presenters. Could Warner Brothers be planning a special reveal, possibly a Man of Steel clip??? - we'll have to wait and see.

Eonline has posted a video of the seating chart - Henry is right by Chris Evans aka Captain America, and next to him is Loki!! - Ohhh.. this is gonna be good!
