First 'M:I Fallout' Featurette Shows Action In The Air

This is the stunt sequence Henry referred to, when he mentioned thinking he was going to die during the filming of Mission: Impossible Fallout in New Zealand... and you can see why!

The film's first featurette was released today, and we can't wait to see more of the work that went into creating that death-defying scene.

This week we also got a glimpse of Vanessa Kirby's mysterious character. Much more to come.

Director's Latest 'Mission: Impossible 6' Twitter Q&A

As we wait for the next Mission: Impossible 6 set update now that filming has moved to London, director Chris McQuarrie once again held an informative Twitter Q&A. The director didn't reveal much about Henry's character, but this first answer does seem to relate to him if you consider what he said just a few weeks ago (above)..

Any guesses on where and how (likely) Henry experienced such conditions? we'd love to hear them!

Here are the rest of the answers that relate to Henry and M:I6. Exciting stuff! -- Look for the latest as we get it.

'Mission: Impossible 6' Filming Wrapping Up In NZ, New Pics

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

We are getting SO spoiled by director Chris McQuarrie, and his incredible behind the scenes videos and photos as he films Mission: Impossible 6 in New Zealand.

The director had teased there wasn't much time left in that country before production moves to London, and we got this update from a contractor preparing that set before the cast and crew arrive.

A post shared by Alessandro Sola (@_alessandro.sola_) on
It looks like the Paramount production will be setting up in a familiar place for Henry. The Warner Bros. studios in Leavesden, is where he shot The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Justice League.

Stay tuned for the latest, as M:I6 wraps up in New Zealand.

UPDATE (7/9): It looks like filming is coming to an end, and we got some new photos of Henry and Tom traveling to/from the set of the film earlier this week.

Henry is still in Queenstown, which means more M:I6 screen time for him (yes!!). But with less than three weeks to go until Comic-Con, we're also really hoping Supes can make it to San Diego to help promote Justice League.

Keep checking back for updates!

Henry Packing Some Heat In Latest Telepathic Message

A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on

Henry once again put his telepathic skills to work, as he sent out a message of support for the British Lions. The rugby team is hoping to bounce back today, from a loss to the New Zealand All Blacks last weekend.

As you can tell Henry has been busy filming Mission: Impossible 6 near Queenstown, but the cast and crew won't be there much longer. Director Chris McQuarrie confirmed during a Q&A yesterday, that they will soon be headed to London.

Nice aim there, Henry! #sothevillain

Fans Run Into Henry In Queenstown, 'M:I6' Filming Q&A

"Celeb spotting at our hotel! Henry Cavill"

That's some timing!

A group of employees from Acumen Republic are in Queenstown for a work gathering, and they ran into Henry while he's there filming Mission: Impossible 6. Production at one of the New Zealand sets has reportedly wrapped, but just yesterday Henry shared a gorgeous shot from the latest location in Milford Sound

A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on

If the scene looks familiar, that's because several movies have been partly filmed there including the recently released Alien: Covenant. We can't wait to see that beautiful scenery in M:I6 next summer.

Thanks to everyone for their pics!

UPDATE: Thanks to a rain delay on set, director Chris McQuarrie conducted one of his epic Q&As. This was the stuff that pertains to the film and Henry. Much appreciated Chris.

UPDATE #2: The director answered one more great question about Henry.

"Legends of M:I6 With The Highland Legends!"

Like we said in our initial post from this fun weekend outing in New Zealand, these are the faces of the toughest guys and girls in the entertainment industry!

"We were running out of light!"

Highlands Motorsport Park today posted new photos from the gathering that included Henry and the Mission: Impossible 6 stunt team, and they couldn't be more excited to have hosted them:

"Super stoked to have some of the cast and crew of Mission Impossible 6 at Highlands! We had an awesome afternoon of competition and only one dirt buggy was harmed in the name of winning!! Huge thanks to Tom Cruise for choosing us as a legendary birthday treat and A Touch of Spice for helping make it a reality!!! We were in the company of legends with these guys and gals including the Wade Eastwood stunt team and Henry Cavill."

"Special mention for Go Kart prowess"

"Special prize for the blindfolded dirt buggy challenge"

We'll definitely see some of their stunt work in action, when Mission: Impossible 6 opens on July 27, 2018. Go team M:I6!

"Filming for Mission: Impossible 6 has wrapped on their Nevis Valley set, a source has revealed to Stuff.

The film wrapped at the remote location last Friday, where a prison-type structure had been built. A source also confirmed a car chase took place on the last day of filming in the valley near Cromwell."

Filming in New Zealand is expected to continue through part of July, with additional photography reportedly planned for London, India, and Norway.

Intriguing New Look At The Characters On The 'M:I6' Set In NZ

Wouldn't you want to know what he's hiding.

Director Christopher McQuarrie has given us a new look at Henry's character on the Mission: Impossible 6 set in New Zealand.

And he's not the only one we got a glimpse at.. Rebecca Ferguson was there.

A post shared by Christopher McQuarrie (@christophermcquarrie) on

This is also the first time we see Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames on set in New Zealand.

It looks like filming is taking place at this set outside of Queenstown (though the flag suggests it's supposed to be somewhere in India, not Iraq as initially reported). UPDATE: Cinematographer Rob Hardy's latest photo seems to confirm that.

A post shared by R o b H a r d y b s c (@rdhardy) on

The cast and crew are expected to be in New Zealand through sometime next month, and a few days ago McQuarrie did a Twitter Q&A where he revealed some exciting clues about the plot and what they could be filming there.

UPDATE: Both Michelle Monaghan and Simon Pegg have finished their work in New Zealand. No word on when Henry will be done with his scenes.

Keep checking back for the latest production news!
