Report: 'The Witcher' Starts Filming In Gran Canaria On Monday

Exciting news on The Witcher front!

According to El Time and La Provincia news outlets, filming in the Canary Islands begins on Monday. Production company Sur Film says filming will take place for two weeks at different locations around Gran Canaria, before the cast and crew film for two more weeks in La Palma. Filming in La Gomera, which had initially been considered -- has now been postponed indefinitely.

The latest reports say the goal is to be in post-production by May, with Netflix planning to launch the fantasy series in the second half of the year.
