"One Of The Best Stunt Women In The World" Henry's Lucy

We've all been hurt, we've all got it wrong, trusted the wrong person, made the wrong bet, turned the wrong way, made THAT mistake. What we've experienced is important, it defines us. But what is more important, and often forgotten, is that we decide how it defines us. The experience, decision or moment itself does not. Others will almost always try and define you by past transgressions more quickly than your past successes. I've made mistakes, I've been someone I'm not proud of plenty of times. I've fallen down. I've loved the wrong person. I've failed. I've been hurt. I've hurt. That's life! In life we are going to get it wrong....alot. What I've tried to do and still try to do each time though is recognise those mistakes and mould them to my advantage. Make them a way to better myself. We've all had a bad experience thanks to someone else. Don't let that bad experience decide how and who you are. Don't let it hold you back from love or success or giving something a go. Don't vent your pain onto or at others in an attempt to bring them down and hold them back and cry your fury to the world. Don't let it turn you into the monster that hurt you. Use that experience! Run with it. Take the sum of your past and make it your tool to approach the future with. Move forward and love the experiences you have, use them to define you and make you the best version of yourself that is humanely possible. Your life is yours and will be whatever you want it to be. Love, grow, pursue, strive, challenge yourself. Be afraid so that you can be brave. The video above is what positive forward motion, determination, bravery, strong will, dedication and self respect looks like. This is my Lucy. She is one of the best stunt women in the world. She has defined herself. She continues to define herself. She grows, everyday. She is Lucy Cork because she says so.

What a way to take charge and lead the way Henry Cavill!

Today Henry shared a truly empowering message, as he introduced fans to his girlfriend. The incredibly talented Lucy Cork is part of the Mission: Impossible 6 stunt team, but she's much more than that!

You can check out all of her work on her official site.

This is one of those moments that reminds us why we're so proud to support Henry.

Rule the world you two!

  14. I'm so proud of him! I really hope that they'll be happy together for a long time. This IG post had me grinning ear to ear. It says a lot about him as a person too. I just want him to find someone who genuinely loves him and keeps him grounded. I hope she'll be the one for him. This is so sweet! Yay, Henry!

  15. Those are very comforting words... Very nice. Only the innocent will relate to it. This won't resonate with everyone. You're the winner, Henry! I say so. Love you. D.

  16. When I thought I couldn't love him more he posts this... Definitely we don't deserve this man. I love Henry and now I love Lucy too. I wish them the best!
I can't understand why some people are so mad with him recently, it doesn't make any sense to me. He's happy and he has opened his heart for us to read today, that is a very hard and brave thing to do. How can Lucy be bad for him if she makes him write these wonderful lines? You are very lucky if you find someone who inspires you those feelings. I love her for that.
Let the world keep talking, they don't know anything at all, they just see what they want. But after this post, somehow, we know Henry's soul. And it's really beautiful.
Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language

    1. That was a beautiful post. I couldn't agree with you more. I also love that Henry is not playing a victim in his post. He's admitting his own faults and mistakes. I wish more people would do that.

I've been a fan of Henrys since The Tudors. To see him open up like this, is wonderful to me.

  19. I've only just managed to catch up and read his post and OMG I LOVE YOU HENRY YOU BEAUTIFUL MAN!! I have never known this man to be so open and emotional in a public form before but I'm glad he did and has. That post bared the most vunerable side of a him which with men we never really see. I have so much respect for Henry Cavill laying himself open, thinking something very honest to the point he owns his mistakes and also defend his lovely partner also. Reading through some of the comments under his post we can all see how much his words have hit home to alot of us. How relatable they are. Now that is something to admire. He is someone to admire. I am very proud to call myself a fan. Thank you, Henry, truly.

    1. Leave them alone. Their lives have nothing to do with you. If you're so mad then ignore them and move on, you may then seek some happiness you clearly need. You cannot be upset by something a stranger does unless you let it upset you. Henry is a grown ass man he doesn't need people like you pretending you know better. You don't.

    1. I so agree. After reading some of the comments, I think some need lessons in reading comprehension. Not to mention checking their own maturity level. And I'm really tired of couch psychology.

  25. This is just so beautiful. It only confirms a lot of what I believed him to be, he;s a really good man, good soul, good heart, and the most deserving of the superman mantle.

  26. I think someone should tell God that when he made Henry he made the best he ever could and we just want more of the same. What a beautiful world it would be. I hope you find the happiness you deserve Henry ❤
