2014: Amanda's Flashback Photo With Supes

"Throwback to the night I had cocktails with Henry Cavill 3 years ago"

Lucky Amanda!

She met Henry while he filmed Batman v Superman in the Detroit area in the summer of 2014, and this weekend she shared her pic with him.

We only have to wait a few more months to see him in that red cape again (or is it black?) when Supes returns in Justice League.

Flashback: Supporter Meets Supes on 'Batman v Superman' Set

Vero has become the place where many content creators including director Zack Snyder choose to post their exclusive stuff. Today we got this treat by Ayman Hariri, who met Henry while visiting the set of Batman v Superman. A few days ago he shared his photo with Ben Affleck.

In the cool pic Henry is holding the Action Comics #1 we've seen him with before. He was first pictured with the iconic issue at Superman's 75th celebration in San Diego.

Henry's Superman Accent Gets The Thumbs Up From U.S. Actors

We know many of you can't get enough of Henry's British accent, but his American one is also pretty on point. And it earned him high marks in a new study conducted by language app Babbel.

Babbel commissioned ex-pat professional actors from both the UK and US to vote on a five-point scale on how convincing the accents were for leading parts in blockbusters grossing over $100 million.

For the United States accent, American Actors UK awarded British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor a 4.5/5 for his work as Solomon Northup in “12 Years a Slave.” Tied for second are the DC superheroes; Christian Bale as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman both garnered 4.2/5 scores.

Another Batman v Superman moment, so we'll cast the tie-breaking vote: Supes for the win!

We'll be hearing more of that commanding voice, when he returns in Justice League.

Thanks for the tip Barbara.

Fabok recently worked with Geoff Johns on Justice League: Darkseid War.

As we wait for the new Justice League trailer to drop (coming soon!), Beyond The Trailer's Grace Randolph has published an in-depth interview with the VFX team on Justice League and Batman v Superman. They give some really cool details on the process of creating the special effects you see on the big screen and tease a bit of what's ahead.

Heroic Hollywood's interview with the team, is a pretty good read as well.

Ahead of the Justice League release, Funko had this cool reveal..

And while we're definitely #TeamSupes, gotta say this Batmobile is a dream come true.

Finally, if you're in London this show is something you may want to check out.

Look for the the latest Justice League news as we get it.

Bayona Dreams Of Directing Superman Film, BvS Latest News

A busy start to the year with all sorts of fun news, beginning with word that director Juan Antonio Bayona would love to direct a Superman movie. His comments coming as Warner Bros. plans a second standalone film for Supes starring Henry. Read more below..

Aww.. and look who is also a big fan of Supes.. The Hulk!

Moving on to Batman v Superman, its strong numbers were part of Collider's breakdown of the top superhero movies of 2016..

Even Jimmy Kimmel's deleted scene was a hit! -- his fun interaction with Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne turned out to be his most popular clip of the year.

Batman v Superman also landed high on the list of most pirated movies of 2016.

Just wait until Justice League arrives in November and blows away the competition. Latest as we get it!

Forbes: Henry Among Highest Grossing Actors Of 2016

Forbes has released its list of top grossing actors of 2016, and Henry comes in at #7, right behind Ben Affleck and Amy Adams!

This is how the list was compiled:

"To calculate the ranking of top-grossing actors, we added up the 2016 global ticket sales of top actors’ films released this year, using data from Box Office Mojo as of December 27, 2016. We did not count animated movies where only actors' voices were used and only included actors who were top-billed and/or had the most screen time."

Justice League will mark the return of Superman, and Henry will also reprise his superhero role in a second standalone film. The excitement is already building for both.

And we don't even know what else he's planning.. here's to a productive 2017.

New Justice League Image, BvS Makes Top 10 List

Director Zack Snyder reportedly told a fan last week, that we wouldn't have to wait long for some Justice League news.. and sure enough today we got this awesome new image.

It's pretty obvious by now, that anything that has to do with Supes and his return is being kept under wraps and we totally get it. But it's still kind of a bummer not to see him in the early promo.

Just imagine when he does show up though.. HYPE. And we loooove what Zack Snyder had to say:

"I’m super happy with the chemistry of my league of justice doers."

READ THE REST at Entertainment Weekly.

We're also really excited about Wonder Woman's solo film, and Gal Gadot released a gorgeous new pic that goes with a MUST READ article by Time.

A photo posted by Gal Gadot (@gal_gadot) on

As 2016 comes to an end, Batman v Superman has made IMDb's Top 10 Movies of the Year, along with Suicide Squad which came out on top.

DC is just getting started!.. Congratulations to both films. We can't wait to see Superman's big entrance in Justice League.

Zack Snyder's Justice League Tease, More From DC Film World

Zack Snyder/Vero

Director Zack Snyder definitely knows what gets people excited. On Wednesday, he shared this Justice League sneak peek, and the caption seems to hint that he's been busy editing the film.. or could he be preparing the trailer?? it would make for a SUPER Christmas!

Later Zack tweeted this sweet video put together by Jason Momoa, that includes some behind the scenes of Aquaman in action. Make sure to check it out below.

There is a lot going on in the DC movie world, including apparent confirmation that the standalone Batman movie is coming in 2018.

Coupled with news that Justice League Part 2 is now reportedly delayed, it likely means we could see the Superman standalone in 2019. Here's hoping!

Recently Jeremy Irons shared a bit more on his character in Justice League..

And a quick update for those of you who love Harley like we do!

Finally, today is THE LAST DAY to vote for Batman v Superman as Favorite Action Movie at the People's Choice Awards. Let's do this for Supes! VOTE NOW.

Super Jedi Rules, In Zack Snyder's 'Star Wars' Fan Film

It's been a geek-heaven kind of day.

Director Zack Snyder just released what he called a "fan film," in response to J.J. Abrams' Batman v Superman Easter eggs in the promo leading up to The Force Awakens last year. Zack's short film "Dark Knight v Super Jedi" is a classic compared to that..

The clip is filled with awesome references and comparisons relating to Supes..

Join Vero and follow the director's account there to check it out! -- We'll post it here if we see it online.

UPDATE: Check out the video on Entertainment Weekly.

We knew something was brewing, when Zack started posting Batman v Superman/Star Wars links. We're really hoping that means that a Justice League trailer is coming next week as rumored, attached to the release of Rogue One.

"Tell me, do you embrace the dark side?.. You will."
