Happy Birthday Superman! -- Zack Snyder Remembers His 'Man of Steel'

Director Zack Snyder has come through again with a very cool throwback to an iconic scene in Man of Steel, just in time to celebrate Superman's birthday!

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor (actually several of them)... not so thrilled, lol.

As for the Man of Steel himself, he's apparently been busy in the kitchen... Happy (belated) Birthday, Superman!

The Witcher: Preview Night At Comic-Con

We're at Comic-Con in San Diego to bring you everything The Witcher.

Preview night gave us a look at the two huge banners hanging inside the convention center.

As soon as the floor opened, we headed straight to the Netflix booth.... only to find out it's focused on The Dark Crystal, which is being released later this summer.

With no Witcher in sight, we walked over to the newly combined DC/Warner Bros. area to see what they had in store.

Supes was waiting in his new regal Chinese suit. The new toy figure is part of a collaboration between Pop Life Global, the China Imperial Palace and DC Comics.

"These figures pay homage to the ancient Chinese warriors and soldier armors inspired by the museum collections from the Imperial Palace archives. This highly collectible figurine collection of DC's most iconic superheroes includes Batman, Superman, Robin, Death Stroke, Wonder Woman, Night Wing, Joker, Harley Quinn, Green Lantern, Arrow, Flash, and Aquaman."

Metropolis was also there to represent Superman...

You know what t-shirt we got!

This Comic-Con exclusive variant looks a lot like a certain Superman we know...

So it was a fun first day at Comic-Con and we can't wait for The Witcher panel on Friday!

Keep up with us on our social media for more pics, videos and details from San Diego.

Superman Represented At Comic-Con 2018

DC at the SDCC convention floor

We're back at Comic-Con to bring you everything Supes related, and of course to celebrate his 80th birthday!

While we are not expecting to hear news on a Man of Steel sequel just yet (Henry did say it could take a bit), there is plenty of Superman memorabilia for fans visiting the convention floor.

From limited edition comic books, to awesome t-shirts and we SO WANT that watch...

This collectible coming at such a timely time, with Henry having just mentioned he would love his Supes to face off against Brainiac.

Again... WANT

DC also has several panels at SDCC, that include appearances by Jim Lee and Geoff Johns. Warner Bros will take over Hall H on Saturday morning, to preview its upcoming DC films including Aquaman and Shazam. You can follow our updates from San Diego on our social media. Go Supes!

P.S. This is what Henry thinks about the Snyder Cut. Don't miss all his interviews from the M:I Fallout press tour.

New Justice League Image & The Kents Smile For The Camera

Image: Warner Brothers/GamesRadar

Still no Supes, but check out this new still from Justice League!

It was released by GamesRadar ahead of the print release on Total Film this Friday, and everyone looks FIERCE. The article includes some new quotes from Zack Snyder (click to read via @OnlyBraniac).

We're not expecting any promo during the Super Bowl, so this was a nice surprise.

While Superman doesn't make an appearance, that background sure looks like a Kryptonian ship..

What do you guys think?

This week director Zack Snyder also posted a pic of Clark's parents on his Vero account, leaving many wondering if they will be appearing in Justice League.

And guess who is front and center, in the opening credits of the new TV show "Powerless?"

SUPERMAN.. who Thor also seems to admire ;)

Moving on to Batman v Superman, its strong numbers were part of Collider's breakdown of the top superhero movies of 2016..

Even Jimmy Kimmel's deleted scene was a hit! -- his fun interaction with Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne turned out to be his most popular clip of the year.

A photo posted by Man Made Grooming Co. (@manmadegrooming.co) on

Superman may be out of sight for now, but definitely not out of the minds of his fans!

Monday kicked off with several Henry mentions, including "Beard of the Week." AndPop then highlighted some of the reasons fans can't get enough of him, give the cute article a read in the link below.

This next post has us planning our next Vegas trip..

GeeksDownUnder: "I don't gamble often (nor do I encourage it) but I'd place my bets on Superman any day."

And the rumor is we're getting a Justice League trailer before the end of the year, and Jason Inman almost spilled the beans! #hype

So while we wait for that trailer to drop, how about some holiday shopping?.. LOVE the Metropolis background!

Happy Anniversary Supes, Henry Training "Brutally Hard" For 'Justice League'

78 years ago today, "The Superman" was introduced to the world via Action Comics #1.. (thanks for the heads up @LaFortalezaSole).

Lucky for us, we have Henry representing the iconic character on the big screen... because we couldn't have asked for a better Supes.

Superman is the best of us in the sense that he has gone through all the trials and tribulations of slings and arrows of growth. Of being hated, of not being wanted.. of wanting to do the everything for humanity and not being able to achieve it, being disappointed in himself and still coming back fighting every time.

We fully expect Supes to fight his way back from death in Justice League, and just a few days ago Henry updated us on the progress of his training for the role.

He talked a bit more about it, while in China representing Huawei as their new P9 ambassador.

Henry says he's been training "very hard" to become Supes again. But his trainer, Mike Blevins, tells us "brutally hard might be more accurate."

Bring it ON, Superman!
