All Quiet On The Home Base Front: 'Batman v Superman' Latest

After an exciting week of Superman and Clark Kent costume reveals, Batman v Superman production news slowed down to a crawl. This week we had zero set updates: NADA out of Pontiac. The word is the cast and crew are out and about filming somewhere else (sneaky!). Even the once-busy LexCorp set across from the studios, is now deserted according to those keeping an eye on it.

"Looks like whatever happened at LexCorp a couple of weeks ago wasn’t good for business. The Guard box has gone. The front door is boarded up. All is quiet on the parking lot and the weeds are growing on the sidewalk."

And no, they haven't started filming at that downtown Detroit location that the whole city now knows about thanks to the local media. These are the latest pictures from there via Rodney (@Yendor187) who says construction may still take a while.

While we haven't seen the Batcave, now we apparently know what's gonna light it. Larson Electronics is showing off the type of lighting that's being used in Batman v Superman.

Their line of industrial grade lighting products have proven to be a popular choice among set designers and film production specialists due to their high performance and modern designs which lend themselves well to the production of today’s action and sci-fi thrillers. The EPL-SL-10-LED explosion proof string light set is ideal for general close work and inspection activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection.

Hazardous locations? that might explain this picture posted by cinematographer Larry Fong on his Instagram account (UncleWow). Looks like potentially toxic surroundings.. to be clear though, we don't know where or when the pic was taken or if it's even his. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with a little speculation ;)

Fong later posted this behind the scenes photo of set photographer Clay Enos. What are you doing down there Clay?!
Miss Lois Lane herself has been keeping busy in the Detroit area. Several lucky fans bumped into Amy Adams at a suburban Detroit store Friday. Like Henry, she usually doesn't say no to pics. Lovely!

There have been no fan sightings of Henry for a while (not counting the lucky extra who got to meet him last week). But fans are certainly hearing from him via snail mail. His agency has been sending out autographed pictures of the Man of Steel. It's definitely putting a smile on the faces of those receiving them.

Hi guys, here's the picture I got in the mail about 2 days ago. I sent letters to both agencies at the end of March but the picture definitely came from the UK one.

Thanks so much again for providing these addresses! The picture came at the right time - just when I needed a boost to get through the week - Superman to the rescue!

Farnaaz,
(from Trinidad)

Here is where/how you can request your own. We are so happy to hear about your support for Henry, and so glad we can help cheer him on. Let's see what next week brings!

New Behind The Scenes Pic From Henry's 'Details' Photo Shoot

There we were, finishing our day by going down our Instagram timeline when bam! - up pops a photo of Ben Affleck with Mark Seliger. The famed photographer posted it to his timeline with this caption: "on set with Ben Affleck."  Is it new? for a magazine cover and interview? you tell us, we are not called Ben Affleck News for a reason. But there is a good reason for us posting it (other than HE IS BATMAN)...

It led us to this BEHIND THE SCENES PIC OF HENRY, during his Details magazine photo shoot last year. Mark shared it, but it was actually taken by Ruth Levy who captioned it: Sunset @ #elmirage

You remember..

This pose by a crew member in the other pic posted by Levy looks familiar..

Yeap!

And then we thought about the cover

 video

and the rest of the amazing HQ photos, interview and caps. Thank you Mark Seliger!

From 'The Tudors' To The Pub: A Fan's Encounter

Image: Carolyn Loyel (@MsLoyel)

Hello "Your Grace"..

We had posted Carolyn's photo back in March, when we found it without a proper source. Now she has shared (via) her great story about the day she met Henry at a London pub, in July of 2009:

"Yeah he really was super nice. I must have gone by the pub like 3 times trying to figure out if it was him. Finally my friend dared me to talk to him so we went into the bar, had a shot of tequila, came back out and I said "I'm sorry for interrupting but you look a lot like Henry Cavill". And he stood up, reached out his hand, and said "Well I am Henry Cavill". Then we chatted about his beard for the Tudors, I asked him how it was going, and he was really very nice and down to earth. Then we took pictures and I let him get on with it. It was right as they were filming Season 4 of The Tudors. I couldn't wait to watch it after that!"

Charles Brandon: Season 4... LUCKY.

Can't get enough of Henry in The Tudors? you can catch the entire series on Netflix. You can also find plenty of interviews and clips on our YouTube channel. Enjoy!

More Talk Of Doomsday, 'Batman v Superman' Being Shot In IMAX?, Carter's Wishes For Gadot

Image: DC Comics

We are the first to admit this is NOT a scenario we are looking forward to seeing play out on the big screen. Yet according to Bleeding Cool, Doomsday may be coming:

Bleeding Cool sources who have been rather reliable in the past have told us that they have seen Batman V Superman designs for the character of Doomsday. In the comics, Doomsday was the creature who killed Superman, in an epic battle across all the Superman titled, culminating a battle composed entirely of splash pages drawn by Dan Jurgens.

Image: DC Comics

If true, the news doesn't really come as a surprise since last we heard from Henry he was more than up for that legendary fight. But can WE take it?... move over Lois and bring on the Kleenex. Someone who definitely looks ready for the ring is Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder. In the latest picture shared by Clay Enos, he looks FIERCE. Go Zack!

Here's an exciting bit if it turns out to be correct. After J.J. Abrams confirmed that he is indeed shooting Star Wars Episode VII with IMAX cameras, Pajiba reported that three were being used on that set and the only other one in the world was being used on Batman v Superman.

As anyone who’s witnessed other natively shot IMAX films like The Dark Knight, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, or The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in an IMAX theatre, the experience really is something to behold.

Pajiba later said IMAX officials could not confirm how many cameras are being used on Star Wars, or what other films are shooting in the format... right. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Earlier this week Linda Carter talked Wonder Woman, when Katie Couric asked her how it felt to pass on the role to Gal Gadot: WATCH

"Well, they didn’t ask me. I kind of wanted to keep it, but the truth is that I wish her well. I think it is…to play a superhero is kind of thankless in a lot of ways. And as long as they don’t try to make a…they don’t write it for a guy, but put a girl in there, you know grrr, that kind of stuff, because that’s not Wonder Woman."

"Wonder Woman’s about heart, about kindness, about righting wrongs. It’s like all of us, right? It’s where we live. It’s all the places we live. And that’s really who Wonder Woman is. All the things we do. And then, there’s still that secret self that wants a pat on the back every now and then. So we come in all shapes and sizes, and I really do hope that she can bring that kind of heart to the character."

Of course after seeing Henry's revamped Superman suit last week, now all that's left is Wonder Woman's big costume reveal. And lucky L.A. once again gets a chance to see the Man of Steel costumes on display, as part of a cool exhibition coming in October. Read all about it and stay tuned for the latest from Detroit.

No 'Batman v Superman' At Comic-Con? Not So Fast..

We're exactly two weeks away from the start of Comic-Con, and Warner Brothers has announced what it plans to bring to San Diego. There was no mention of Batman v Superman, but don't freak out just yet!

Studios normally keep mum on big reveals, so we're thinking there's still a chance they have something brewing. Last year director Zack Snyder walked on stage at Hall H and delivered a whopper of a surprise: confirmation that Batman v Superman was in the making. So we can't imagine they wouldn't follow that up with something awesome. Then again, since the film doesn't come out until 2016, they do have next year's con to bring the excitement. We'll be at Comic-Con bringing you updates. For fans headed to San Diego, there are plenty of great panels relating to Superman and Batman's 75th anniversary. We've highlighted some of them in the official press release.

BURBANK, CA, July 8, 2014 -- Warner Bros. Entertainment will plant its flag at Comic-Con International: San Diego this year with a huge presence, with each individual division touting its upcoming offerings, including Film, Television, Interactive and Home Entertainment, as well as a variety of product from DC Entertainment, whose celebrations in honor of 75 years of one of the world’s most beloved Super Heroes—Batman—will be in full swing.

On Saturday, July 26th, beginning at 10 a.m., Warner Bros. Pictures brings three of its most hotly anticipated films to this year’s Con: Peter Jackson will be on the main stage with “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” from New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, and George Miller will be on hand to present a first look at “Mad Max: Fury Road,” from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. The Hall H audience will also get a peek at the Wachowskis’ original sci-fi actioner “Jupiter Ascending,” also from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. Attending stars will be revealed at a later date.

In addition to the Studio’s Hall H presentation, Warner Bros. will also host a pre-Con fan screening of New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures’ upcoming “cli-fi” thriller “Into the Storm,” directed by Steven Quale. The screening will take place on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 10 p.m. at the Gas Lamp Theatre.

Warner Bros. Television Group returns to Comic-Con with 15 series in 2014, holding panels throughout the four days of the Con for fan-favorite series including “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Following,” “Supernatural,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Teen Titans Go!,” among many others, as well as once again kicking off the Con with screenings of new series “The Flash,” “Constantine” and more on Wednesday’s Preview Night.

On Saturday night, July 26th, it’s all DC Entertainment all night in Hall H when Warner Bros. Television treats attendees to a three-hour special event designed specifically for DC Comics fans and featuring some of DC Comics’ greatest characters. The event will run from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and will feature the world premiere public screening of the highly anticipated new drama series “Gotham” (the only screening of “Gotham” at this year’s Comic-Con), followed by a screening of the complete pilot of “The Flash,” and exclusive video presentations from returning hit “Arrow” and new thriller “Constantine.” Cast members and producers from all four shows will make special appearances throughout the three-hour event. For complete information on Warner Bros. Television’s plans for Comic-Con and for real-time updates during the convention, please follow us on Twitter at @warnerbrostv—official hashtag #WBSDCC—and visit http://comiccon.thewb.com.

In concert with all the WB divisions, DC Entertainment continues to fête Batman’s 75th year, making the icon the centerpiece of their offerings, including all-star panel appearances by Batman talent as well as a rare display of some of the canon’s most famous film costumes in history—those worn by Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton—on display in the DC Entertainment booth. The character will also appear on the cover of the Con’s official souvenir book, and on a Con-exclusive T-shirt designed by DC Entertainment Co-Publisher and legendary artist, Jim Lee.

Lee will also participate in the Batman 75: Legends of the Dark Knight panel discussion with veteran Batman creatives Frank Miller, Grant Morrison, Denny O’Neil, Neal Adams, current series writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo, and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. The panel will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 24th.

Johns and artist John Romita, Jr., the new creative team behind Superman, will explore their upcoming plans for the Super Hero, as will the husband-and-wife creative team behind comics’ most beloved heroine, Wonder Woman, writer Meredith Finch and artist David Finch.

In addition to their numerous other activities, including 20 panels over the course of the Con, the company will also reveal plans for numerous upcoming titles for DC Comics, Vertigo and MAD Magazine imprints, as well as unveiling new action figures from DC Collectibles, including those commemorating The CW and WBTV’s “Arrow” and “The Flash,” as well as a stellar new line based on the upcoming videogame “Batman: Arkham Knight,” from WBIE.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, in celebration of the upcoming release of Rocksteady Studios’ “Batman: Arkham Knight,” will host the Cape/Cowl/Create art exhibit, open to the public daily from July 25th through the 27th, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hard Rock San Diego Hotel’s Legends Room. This free public exhibition will feature true-to-scale replicas of the game’s cape and cowl used as a blank canvas by top contemporary artists to produce their own original interpretations.

On Friday, July 25th, at 12:30 p.m., WBIE and Monolith Productions will host a panel for the anticipated game “Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor,” discussing how the game’s innovation evolves storytelling while exploring the history of the Rings of Power. Panelists will include Monolith’s Michael de Plater and Phil Straub, as well as the game’s lead writer, Christian Cantamessa, and voice actor Troy Baker, moderated by Professor Janet Croft.

And Sunday, July 27th, at 1:00 p.m., WBIE will also host a panel for “LEGO™ Batman 3: Beyond Gotham,” developed by TT Games, with an exclusive gameplay demonstration, character reveals, special announcements and a lively panel discussion with several members of the voice cast featured in the game. Also, throughout the Con, the game will be available for the first time for hands-on play by consumers.

Blanketing the Con from start to finish with entertainment and activities for fans, Warner Bros. Home Entertainmentcelebrates its coming release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ summer blockbuster “Godzilla” with a four-day interactive display on the lawn behind Hall H. From Wednesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, view the 24-foot tall sculpture of the king of the monsters, along with fan art and a graffiti wall where visitors can memorialize their favorite Godzilla moments. Giveaways and photo opportunities will also be available.

From 6:00 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24th, WBHE hosts Batman ’66, reuniting pop icons Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar on the Hall H stage for “Batman: The Complete Television Series.” Moderated by Ralph Garman, the actors behind Batman, Robin and Catwoman will give the audience an inside look at the exclusive content contained in the Home Entertainment release due out later this year, as well as present dazzling high-definition re-mastered footage from the landmark series.

On Friday, July 25th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., it’s the world premiere of “Batman: Assault on Arkham,” the next entry in the ongoing series of DC Universe Original Movies, due out on Digital HD on July 29th and as a Blu-rayTM Combo Pack on August 12th. Produced by WBHE, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the full-length animated film is based on the best-selling “Batman: Arkham” videogame series. Lucky attendees at the Ballroom 20 event will also be treated to a panel discussion featuring Kevin Conroy of “Batman: The Animated Series,” Matthew Gray Gubler, Troy Baker and John DiMaggio, and the filmmaking team of producer James Tucker, director Jay Oliva, dialogue director Andrea Romano, screenwriter Heath Corson, and moderator Victor Lucas. There will also be special announcements, exclusive prizes and a few potential surprises.

The final day of the Con, Sunday, July 27th—Kids’ Day—will see WBHE’s world premiere of the family animated film “Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy” at 10:00 a.m. in Room 6BCF. The story follows everyone’s favorite Great Dane and the Mystery Inc. gang on a trip to a cursed castle inhabited by a terrifying ghost. Attendees can stay for a panel discussion among several of the voice actors, including Mindy Cohn and Grey Griffin, director/producer Paul McEvoy and screenwriter Jim Krieg. The feature will be available August 5th on Digital HD, and on Blu-rayTM Combo Pack and DVD on August 19th.

On the same day in Room 6A, at 2:15 p.m., animation fans can also watch the world premiere of the beloved cat-and-mouse duo Tom and Jerry in “Tom and Jerry: The Lost Dragon,” an hour-long feature filled with song, sorcery and slapstick. Filmmakers Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone will be on hand to present the film, which will be released on Digital HD on August 19th, and on DVD on September 2nd.

And fans of the extensive WBHE library will be able to enjoy panels discussing some of their newest and greatest classic offerings: on Saturday the 26th at 1:00 p.m., Warner Archive Collection presents Trailers From Hell Live! A match made in classic movie heaven, the gurus of TFH, paired with the fan-centric trio of WAC podcasters, make a detailed, often humorous dissection of trailers from some of the great films in the fanboy spectrum. From sci-fi and horror to action and noir, it’s an education on current and upcoming releases in the WAC catalog and Warner Archive Instant, from a panel that includes Josh Olson and WAC Podcast hosts George Feltenstein, Matthew Patterson and DW Ferranti. In Room 25ABC.

At 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, WAC presents A Batman for all Seasons. Join respected producer/author Michael Uslan, producer James Tucker, producer/director Brandon Vietti, WAC Podcast hosts Patterson and Ferranti and surprise guests, as they examine Batman iterations and oddities throughout history, from early films like “Public Defender” and the Batman cartoons, to new versions of the character, the off-kilter takes and new media. Attendees who stick around to the end will be privy to a special WAC announcement that will excite fans both “Young” and old. Room 7AB.

An exciting lineup, but of course what would make Comic-Con a MILLION times better would be a Batman v Superman reveal. We leave you with Variety's tweet for thought. Make it happen Zack Snyder!

Henry Working On U.N.C.L.E. & Batman v Superman In Detroit, Fan Shares Hot Pic

If this isn't a killer look.. Jennifer (jensautographs on IG) just shared the picture Henry autographed for her in 2011. Don't stare at it too long, or you won't be able to look away.. swoon x 1000! - Want your own Henry autograph? here's what you need to know.

Talk about a hard-working MAN.

Not only has Henry been busy reprising his role as the Man of Steel in Detroit, he's also been doing post-production work on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Ozone Music and Sound shared this Facebook update today, with that great picture from when he first visited their studio in April.

We can tell you WITHOUT A DOUBT you are going to LOVE his suave portrayal as Solo. Superman who?.. just wait.

Back to Batman v SupermanWNEM went looking to see what they could find out about the MI set being prepared for filming at an old Girl Scout camp. WATCH their report.

WNEM TV 5

We're also keeping a close watch on another set being built in downtown Detroit, that should be ready for action a few weeks from now. And don't forget, we're headed to Comic-Con two weeks from tomorrow.. and who knows what SUPER reveals await us. We'll be bringing you daily updates, so make sure you're following us on twitter and Facebook. Finally, you've probably heard the rumors of an alleged fake Batman v Superman script floating around linked to actor/comedian Kevin Smith (here's the background). Smith addressed those rumors today, and confirmed he did not write that script. The plot thickens..

July Arrives Packing A Punch & It's All About Henry

July has arrived packing a punch, with reveal after exciting reveal for Henry's fans. The surprises started Monday, when the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund released a behind the scenes photo of Henry as Clark Kent on the Michigan set of Batman v Superman. Okay, minus the glasses like costume designer Michael Wilkinson pointed out, but still.. HELLO CLARK! - Henry is an ambassador for the charity, and in the coming weeks you'll have a chance to win one of two t-shirts he signed in support of the RMCTF. Stay tuned, the wait will be worth it!

Just as we were getting ready for the 4th of July weekend came another HUGE (and muscular, and gorgeous, and perfect) surprise: A FIRST LOOK at Henry in his tweaked Superman suit. The internet went bonkers, and as we were catching our breath, out came a new photo of him with an extra in Michigan. Impressive. Seems like July can only mean good things for his fans. You remember last 4th of July weekend: L.A. TREAT FEST (thanks mainly to Henry being his usually charming-self ).

Now THAT's a color that looks good on him. Luckily for us, People magazine says he's very much a single bachelor.. because you know, we'd like to think if the world ended tomorrow and only him and us were left alive we'd have a chance. Right.

With a hit film, those laser beam blue eyes and a jawline that could chisel away even the most hardened of hearts, there's no questioning Cavill's superhuman appeal. But even the Man of Steel isn't perfect, admitting to Details that his boarding school nickname was "Fat Cavill": "I bawled on the phone to my mom four times a day."

Something that might make YOU cry, is this awesome video put together by the talented Osiria (CheesyFrenchy). It's all about best friends and their journey. (And a hot, HOT, Charles Brandon).

And we asked and you delivered, here are some lovely fan drawings inspired by Henry. Thanks, you guys. Please keep sending them in!

We have a great interview coming up this week, and it's all about The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (6 months away from its release!) - We're also keeping an eye on Batman v Superman filming in Detroit, where things are happening outside of the studios. Look for the latest right here.

Hot Holiday Greetings, Batman v Superman Set Update, Comic-Con Surprises

Whoa. Here we thought we had seen every gorgeous shot of Henry as Man of Steel, obviously we were wrong. Set photographer Clay Enos, today tweeted this patriotic photo from his archive. Definitely set off the fireworks for us. Hot, hot, oh SO HOT. Not to be left behind, Gal Gadot shared her own beautiful pic, along with a greeting to her American fans. Thanks Wonder Woman, look forward to seeing you dressed in red, white and blue.

A day later we're still swooning HARD over the first official look at Henry in Batman v Superman. After focusing on the subtle changes made to his suit, we're moving on to the guessing game about where Zack Snyder may be going with Man of Steel next. In his new interview with USA Today, the director mentioned Henry is more comfortable in the role this time around, adding: "We've both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit." Could that mean a more mature and weathered Superman? - like the internet has pointed out, Henry's new look is similar to that of the Superman from Kingdom Come. What do you think?

Now that we've gotten a first look at Batman and Superman, we're guessing filming outside of the Michigan Motion Picture Studios can't be that far away. Checking in with what's happening in Detroit, here are the latest pics from the set that's under construction in that city's downtown area (watch a local report). We feel the excitement building!

These are the most recent pics from the Kent farm outside of Chicago, courtesy of @CoolinChicago. Filming there is not expected to take place until this fall, but we're keeping an eye on it, just in case.

And because our wrap wouldn't be complete without a Lex sighting... Daniel Perez posted this pic on his Instagram (mrdjtango) Friday, adding: "About to shoot a quick scene with my boy" #Jesse Eisenberg #BatmanvsSuperman. It's a busy time in Detroit.

Finally as we count down to Comic-Con, The Hollywood Reporter is thinking we're definitely in for a SUPER treat:

Expect official announcements from both Marvel Studios and Warner Bros’ DC Entertainment division, along with new footage and “surprise” cast appearances.

We're trying not to get too excited about the possibility of seeing new Batman v Superman footage, because this is us if it happens..

We'll be more than happy with any superhero-related news Warner Bros. delivers in Hall H. San Diego, here we come!

Henry Poses With A 'Batman v Superman' Extra In Detroit

Speaking of THE MAN of the day..

Let us just clarify, Jim is not just ANY extra, he happens to be the president of AT&T in Michigan. Guess the job comes with its SUPER perks. Thanks for sharing Jim!

Old v New: The Differences In Henry's Superman Look

See what we did there with the "v" in the headline? ALL Zack Snyder's influence. Today he hit us with a whopper of a pre-4th of July surprise, when he gave a revealing interview to USA Today. Did we mention it came with a FIRST OFFICIAL BATMAN V SUPERMAN STILL OF HENRY AS SUPERMAN?! figured the web had told you. Back to the "v," the director explained why he choose it instead of the traditional "vs." He also shared some very cool production details. Yes, Henry and Ben have shot scenes together, no, Gal Gadot has not started filming. Anyway, DON'T MISS THE ARTICLE in USA Today (and be careful when you click on that HQ pic: can cause heart palpitations). The reason for this post however, is to try and sort out the differences in Henry's look in Man of Steel, compared to Batman v Superman. Luckily, someone already did the job for us.

Click for larger size

Thank you Project Rooftop and of course Michael Wilkinson, who designed the subtle yet sleek new changes in the Superman suit. You guys seemed to approve, when we asked what you liked best about the new look.

Moving on to Clark. We got a sneak peak at how Henry will look as the Daily Planet journalist, when the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund shared a photo of him supporting their cause while on set in Detroit. All he's missing are the glasses according to Wilkinson, and he is the costume designer so he should know. We put this collage together with pics of how Henry looked for Man of Steel. What can we say, deciding which look we like best has never been an issue. That's because it's all about THE MAN, no matter what he wears. Go Henry!

Henry's Message Seen Around The World: Support The RMCTF

Image: Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund

What a way to support his charity of choice. Here's a new look at Henry on the set of Batman v Superman, as he promotes the 1664 Challenge to benefit the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. We are proud to join the effort to help raise funds for the charity, that has welcomed Henry as its ambassador. The RMCTF is giving you a chance to win two t-shirts signed by Henry (1 white,1 black). We'll be bringing you details on how you can participate soon. In the meantime costume designer Michael Wilkinson, has shared confirmation about what everyone is talking about.
The first look at Henry as Clark Kent, has given worldwide attention to the charity that provides a better quality of life to serving and retired Royal Marines and their families. Please help if you can.

Downtown Detroit Gets Ready For Batman v Superman, New Set Pics, Momoa Calls Himself "Antihero"

It was bound to happen. As construction continues at the rumored Batman v Superman location in downtown Detroit, a local TV station went to check it out. They were told the work was in advance of a soap commercial, but then came a cab driver that knew better. Watch WDIV-TV's report

These are the latest pictures from that location, shared by @uofmuscle. As you can see there is still plenty of work left to do, before the site is ready to film.

@uofmuscle also posted these photos of the Saranay Motel in the Royal Oak area, saying filming took place against that wall in the bottom picture on a late Sunday night a few weeks ago. Guess we'll find out what scene was allegedly shot there in 2016.

Over the weekend Jason Momoa made an appearance at the Evolution Expo, and at one point mentioned playing a superhero. Well kind of.. watch him talk about it in the clip below. We have yet to get confirmation from Warner Bros. that he has been cast as Aquaman in Batman v Superman. But who are we kidding, he is SO playing Aquaman. Latest as it happens!
