New Pic Of Henry At Recording Studios In Chicago Last Week, Update From New Mexico

Today Bam Studios shared their pic with Henry (in that seriously HOT beanie of his). Since he was there to record, we're thinking more ADR work for The Man From U.N.C.L.E. like he did in Detroit. But when we put in a call to the studios they couldn't confirm. UPDATE 11/19: Bam has shared details about the recording session, that was indeed for U.N.C.L.E.

It was a pleasure to host actor Henry Cavill when he came to BAM to record ADR for the upcoming spy movie “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”! In a session engineered by Dave Leffel, Cavill recorded additional dialogue for the film via an ISDN connection with WB De Lane Lea Studios in London. This connection allowed writer and director Guy Ritchie to provide direction during the session. ”The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is a “spy-fi” movie based on a popular TV series of the same name that aired in the late 1960s. Set at the height of the Cold War, the movie centers on two secret agents in their attempt to stop an international criminal organization in its tracks. In the film Cavill plays Napoleon Solo, an American CIA agent who forms an unlikely partnership with his Russian counterpart Illya Kuryakin (portrayed by actor Armie Hammer). Other stars of the film include Elizabeth Debicki, Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, and Jared Harris. Henry Cavill is best known for his portrayal of Superman in “Man of Steel” and the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” and has also appeared on projects such as “Immortals” and “The Tudors.” ”The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is set to premiere in August of 2015.

Henry has since left Chicago along with Kal, who made quite an impression on everyone he met.. including this airline worker at O'Hare Int'l Airport (Yes, that's a fan account she was tweeting to -- Henry is not on twitter).

Thanks to the beautiful pictures by set photographer, Clay Enos, we know Batman v Superman is now in New Mexico where filming is expected to continue these next few weeks. Hopefully we get pictures out of there, but don't hold your breath. Playas, where we hear most filming is taking place, is in the middle of nowhere. A town dedicated to training anti-terrorism forces (and called a "Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Town" by this blogger)...

that once in a while welcomes film crews like Batman v Superman. Well played Zack Snyder.

Batman v Superman: Cameras Pop Up At O'Hare Int'l Airport

UPDATE: Screen magazine confirms our little twitter investigative journalism roundup. O'Hare was the last Illinois location before production wrapped in that state today. Thanks again @Juanmies.

This set came out of nowhere.. *if* it's indeed for Batman v Superman. Filming was supposed to wrap on schedule today in the Chicago area, so when we spotted this tweet overnight we didn't think much of it.

The cast and crew are expected to head to New Mexico next, as Batman v Superman filming gets closer to a wrap. We're not sure if Henry will be there, but we'll keep you posted!

Confirmed: Henry Is Still In Chicago! (& Looking As Hot As Ever)

Thanks to @gqxsensazn for confirming that Henry is still in Chicago. He met him today at his gym and had this to share:

This was taken at my CrossFit gym today! I just finished my workout when my coach said Superman was in the building. I asked who he was talking about and he said Henry Cavill. It didn't hit me until 2 minutes later that he was actually serious. I ran into the locker room to get my phone and he was there getting dressed. I introduced myself (shaking of course) and asked how he was. I went back to the CrossFit side and waited for him to come. Then my coach, another member, and I were talking to Henry and his coach for a few minutes. I asked if I could take a picture and he was very polite. I only took one because I didn't want to intrude (..) I'm still shocked after all the times I went to see the filming, I finally met him at my gym!

He later added a bit more, when we thanked him for sharing his photo.

We don't blame him, Henry seems to have that effect on people #ClassyGuy. The Tribune says filming is set to wrap in Chicago tomorrow, so sooner or later Superman is headed out. Latest as we get it.

It's about time we hopefully get to see Clark and Lois at the Daily Planet (although we're not complaining). There was buzz, that Henry was spotted at Monday's set out on a ferry, but no pics so far. We did get a glimpse at Bruce Wayne, and one lucky fan even got to meet Ben in costume.

New Week, More 'Batman v Superman' Filming In Chicago

Chicago Filming Wrap: Superman Makes A Spectacular Entrance

Not in our wildest dreams, did we ever think we'd get to watch the kind of action that took place on the Batman v Superman set in Chicago Friday. And the excitement was ALL about Henry Cavill flying as Superman. But as easy as he made it look, of course that wasn't the case. It takes some mad skills to be suspended from that harness and make it look realistic. Just ask his Man of Steel costar Michael Shannon. He talked to the Chicago Tribune about his time trying to fly:

“It was very difficult work. It was very physically demanding. You can’t just sit in the harness and expect it to do all the work. You’re not going to look like you’re flying. You have to pay attention to what your feet and legs are doing. It’s like dancing.

Saturday Shannon reunited with Henry at a club where Shannon was co-hosting a fundraiser. You can read more on the Chicago Tribune. The newspaper also revealed that filming in the Windy City is expected to continue through Friday. In the meantime the press is still talking about Superman.

Yes, he worked all night, but today Henry was out and about in Chicago when several fans ran into him. He also caught up with his Man of Steel costars! - Henry showed up to support Michael Shannon in a fundraiser he was hosting for A Red Orchid Theatre. We're so glad to see Henry getting a chance to relax, as Batman v Superman films in Illinois.
