How awesome is this weekend gonna be for Justice League fans? PRETTY AMAZING!
Today we found out a new trailer is coming Sunday, and the announcement was released via new individual posters of everyone but Supes ("almost" ALL IN remember?).
We also got news of a Justice League takeover in Times Square all weekend long, and we caught some of the action as workers got everything ready for fans.

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment will team up with AT&T for an unprecedented takeover of its Times Square store from October 5 through 8, to celebrate the upcoming release of “Justice League.”
As part of this sponsorship, the AT&T store located at 3 Times Square will host an exclusive look at some of the most exciting elements from the action adventure film, well in advance of its November 17 debut in theaters.
Fans can see and take pictures with the iconic Batmobile and Bruce Wayne’s tricked-out Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo along Broadway, from 42nd to 44th Streets.
Inside the AT&T store, see incredibly lifelike statues of DC’s iconic Justice League members Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash.
Check out video footage, the coolest props and costumes from the movie, try out VR activities, Join the League yourself, and take home an exclusive poster.
A meet-and-greet with best-selling comic book writer Geoff Johns and renowned artist Jim Lee October 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The truly dynamic duo will be signing their acclaimed comic Justice League, Vol. 1: Origin, the flagship title from DC’s The New 52 publishing event. In addition to partnering on the page, Johns and Lee also serve as executives at DC: President and Chief Creative Officer, and Publisher, respectively. DC All Access, DC’s original digital series (at dccomics.com), will be there to cover it and capture reactions. Wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10:00 a.m. that morning.
The sponsorship includes more special fan experiences in select AT&T stores across the U.S. starting Oct. 27, including authentic costumes and props from the movie, exclusive posters, virtual reality interactions and more.

DeleteThis confirms the latest rumors that Supes/Cavill has basically a cameo in JL. Several now reporting his fate remains undermined at the end of the film - which the skeptic will say opens the door for the rumored new actor. Adams moving on after JL. Eienberg/Lex may be totally cut from JL.
ReplyDeleteOther than in flashbacks, it's possible a resurrected Supes will only be seen in the shadows - a la the Alfred scene. No one can quite figure that out.
With JL not getting a follow-up anytime soon, it's interesting WB may not show a clear visual of the resurrected Supes in JL. Setting the stage for a total Superman reboot in 6 or 7 years with a new actor. It's too obvious and now the entertainment media is catching onto the plan - which was obvious in September 2013 when Affleck took over the "Superman sequel" as they called BvS at the time.
Henry can't get away from this mess too soon.

ReplyDeleteWorry not. The desperation this fellow has to make it look like several people believes what it writes, is the proof that it is the only person who thinks that.
It has been over a year since I last saw this fella around, perhaps with JL so close to release it is more desperate than ever? I remember before BvS came out how this fella was promising that our dear Cavill was going to "announce its leave from DC just after BvS came out in theaters". The fella was laughable back then, and its still laughable now.
It's impossible for me to take these guys seriously at this point.
DeleteThe facts don't lie. WW and SS are getting sequels 2 years after their initial films. MOS is not guaranteed a sequel at this point but, if it happens, it will be no sooner than 2022. 9 years after it's initial debut. Those are facts and they can't be spun - though some may try.

ReplyDeleteWith huge success of WW and the success of SS WB has to make room for WW2 and SS2 during phase 1. Through 2021. JL2 is rumored to be pushed out to phase 2 so WW2 can get 2019 slot. Studio has 9 slots between 2019 and 2021. WW2, SS2, Batman 1 &2, JL Dark, GL, Joker film, Shazam and another DC related film featuring a lesser character. Possibly Nightwing. It means Cyborg may get pushed out from 2021 into phase 2.
