"He Took His Time Signing Down The Carpet, Really Chatty"

It remains to be seen whether Henry will walk the red carpet during awards season this year.

What a nice Friday this has been, with a new pic of Henry in London and new The Man from U.N.C.L.E. details and stills. Now Mike is sharing his photos from the Empire Awards, along with the best story by his "correspondent," James:

"A few minutes later Superman himself Henry Cavill arrived! Just like Jessica, Henry spent ages meeting fans and posing for photos."

"He signed an index card for me, and posed for a photo too. When the sun had kinda ruined the first attempt, he was kind enough to pose for a second picture!" 

"I wish I’d known he was going though, I would have loved to get my Man of Steel promo book signed."

Oh, and when we told Mike we weren't surprised Henry was super nice, this is what he had to say.. Go Solo!

Happy Wednesday: Fan Shares Sweet Story About Meeting Henry

Whether we see Henry or not out and about, not a week goes by where we don't hear about how nice and gracious he is with everyone he meets. The latest picture and story comes from Tia John-Thomas, who is an aspiring actress. She met Henry at the London premiere of Man of Steel and shared the details of their brief encounter with us:

The moment is here, he's walking right towards me! I reached out to him. "hello, how are you?" He greeted, "never better", he smiled and posed for a pic, "they couldn't have picked a better Superman" I said and he said "thank you" before shaking my hand. He looked so happy after and he was gone. I would kill to be in a movie with him one day, watch that spot because Henry is going far!! Can't wait to see him again.

Henry & Gina At The 'Fast & Furious 6' Afterparty In London

This is a nice weekend treat! -- thanks to Peggysuelov for alerting us to this never-before-seen pic of Henry & Gina at the Fast & Furious 6 afterparty in London last May (via 2wents). Henry was there supporting Gina who's in the film. We have plenty of coverage from that day. Check out Henry signing autographs and being awesome with fans at the premiere.
