'Nomis' Set Update: Kal Embraces The Spotlight In Canada

When your furry son grows up to be a superstar.. Kal owning it in Canada!

Henry's costar, Alex Daddario, posted this sweet photo from the set of Nomis today. Apparently we're not the only ones who have a crush on Kal since the rose giving day. And he seems to be LOVING the snow.

Best Super Puppy ever.

Winnipeg Mayor Welcomes 'Nomis' Cast, Henry Shares Rugby Excitement

 






What a cast.

The mayor of Winnipeg, today shared his pics from the set of Nomis and it only makes us more excited for the film!

This week a blizzard hit the city and we got a lot of funny updates, as Henry and his costars braved the below freezing temperatures.


Fans have been running into the actors and embraced the filming going on around town, but apparently there are some drawbacks..


Nomis is set to wrap by the end of the month.

And while Henry may be working this weekend, he's not missing his big rugby matches.

Winnipeg Reacts To Finding Out Henry Is In Town


It's safe to say that if people in Winnipeg didn't know Henry was in town shooting Nomis, they do now. His video during a blizzard from the set of the film pretty much guaranteed that. Add a crushworthy Kal and a red rose and voilà!






The latest update from the cast and crew, had Nathan Fillion freezing on set.



And today Alex Daddario was still seeing penguins (we're not sure if these ones are local though).



It seems like everyone involved with Nomis is super excited about the movie.

"It's Been A Wonderful Experience" Dany Garcia On Partnership


Henry's manager Dany Garcia, today took questions as part of #thedanydownload on her Twitter account. She shared a quick bit on how she ended up working with Henry. It's a really busy 2017 for him, as he films Nomis in Canada and Sand Castle and Justice League coming out. Look forward to seeing what else Henry is working on with Dany's support.

Henry's Heartfelt Message On 'International Women's Day'


Someone sure knows how to set hearts ablaze!

We don't think we've ever seen Henry's comment count on his Instagram and Facebook go up so fast. And look at Kal, ready to charm you to death.

In all seriousness, these thoughtful gestures from Henry are among the reasons we are so proud to support him. He's a good human.

Henry's Video From The Overnight Set Of 'Nomis'

Henry has been in Winnipeg for about two weeks now, and overnight he posted his first video from the set of Nomis. Having lived in Minneapolis (a little further south), we know exactly what kind of cold he's talking about:

1) Your lungs literally hurt when you breathe.

2) You begin experiencing slurred speech or in the case of his costar, having hallucinations and attacking people.


3) And finally your eyelashes start to freeze.

Yet there is Henry, making a blizzard look like a walk in the park.. WHILE THE EXTRAS STAY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER AS THEY TRY TO SURVIVE. And we're not the only ones who noticed.

Even his hair is bouncing in the wind, like some kind of shampoo commercial!




What is this sorcery??.. and then we remember.. SUPERMAN.  Carry on Henry.

Nathan Fillion, Stanley Tucci, And Minka Kelly Join Cast Of 'Nomis'


The official news we've been waiting for is here!

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Stanley Tucci is starring in Nomis, and he'll be joined by Minka Kelly and Nathan Fillion:


The cast for David Raymond’s psychological thriller Nomis has been rounded out with Stanley Tucci, Nathan Fillion, Minka Kelly, Brendan Fletcher and Mpho Koaho. They join Henry Cavill, Ben Kingsley and Alexandra Daddario, who are starring in the film about an American police force that traps an online predator, only to realize the depth of his crimes goes far beyond anything anticipated. Raymond wrote the script and will direct.



This eerie film is looking better and better!

Fillion and Fletcher have already been spotted in Canada, with Nate being his funny self.

Henry's Pic From The Eerie Canadian Set Of 'Nomis'

After a busy weekend filming Nomis, Henry was back at work on Monday. He shared this beautiful but creepy pic from set. Based on his training and director David Raymond's clues, Henry appears to be playing a member of the law enforcement team involved in an online predator investigation. Now if his character (Marshall) can just stay alive, that would be really nice. Thanks, David Raymond.

In Production: Working Weekend For The 'Nomis' Cast & Crew



It was a working weekend for the cast and crew of Nomis. They filmed at several locations including the University of Manitoba, where Henry and director David Raymond were spotted Saturday.

As rumored, Stanley Tucci has indeed joined the cast of Nomis. A crew member confirming the news today.



The film that's set for a 2018 release, will reportedly wrap in a few weeks.

It reportedly happened as he hung out with his Nomis costars at the cast dinner in Winnipeg.

Eliana Jones and Sara Thompson were goofing around with the cute filters and captured the candid moment to share on their social media.

'Sand Castle' Trailer Is Out, Premieres On Netflix April 21




We've been waiting MONTHS for a first look at Henry in Sand Castle, and the trailer has finally arrived. And you're going to get a kick of the very southern Captain Syverson.


Official press release:

Netflix debuts the trailer for the feature film Sand Castle starring Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), and Logan Marshall-Green (Spider-Man: Homecoming). From a powerful and personal script by screenwriter Chris Roessner who was inspired by his experiences in Iraq, the film is an honest and candid depiction of the Second Gulf War told through the eyes of a group of American soldiers on the front lines.

Sand Castle is the second feature film from acclaimed Brazilian director Fernando Coimbra (A Wolf at the Door), who also directed episodes from Season One of the Netflix global-hit series "Narcos."

The film also stars Glen Powell (Hidden Figures), Beau Knapp (The Nice Guys), and Neil Brown Jr. (Straight Outta Compton).


Sand Castle premieres on Netflix on April 21, 2017.

Synopsis:

Set in Iraq in 2003, Sand Castle follows a group of American soldiers in the early days of the second Gulf War. Bearing witness to the heat and the horror is the inexperienced Private Matt Ocre (Nicholas Hoult), who together with several fellow soldiers is ordered to the outskirts of Baqubah to repair a water pumping station damaged by U.S. bombs. But as Ocre discovers, in an atmosphere where resentment and anger fester, trying to win the hearts and minds of the locals is a task fraught with danger. It’s here, in the streets, squares and schools that he discovers the true cost of war.

 The Netflix original film is directed by Fernando Coimbra and written by Chris Roessner. Justin Nappi of Treehouse Pictures and Ben Pugh of 42 produced.

'Nomis' Production: Latest From Canada, Stanley Tucci Buzz

What a week.

Henry has been shooting Nomis in Winnipeg and it feels like we're there, with all the social media updates from the cast and crew. Thanks everyone!





It appears this lucky fan got to meet Sir Ben Kingsley, as he filmed at a fast food restaurant.



Today @Vidumavikte flagged us about Stanley Tucci's name added to the film's IMDb page as Commissioner Harper.

His page has him listed in the film as well, but we'll have to wait for official confirmation.

While David Raymond is busy directing Nomis, he took the time to give a shout out to Henry and Sand Castle.


That's what we call an awesome boss.

Zack Snyder Reveals Footage Of Aquaman In 'Justice League'


Director Zack Snyder spent his birthday hard at work on Justice League, and he gifted fans with this new Aquaman footage that's pretty spectacular.
