  3. Does the coco cola company own the London Eye now? I thought it was it's own thing. Or is it just a one time thing where he has to represent the company for the cause?

    Sorry, I'm a little confused.

    1. Hi! -- It has nothing to do with Henry. Coke has been the official sponsor of the London Eye since last year. https://www.londoneye.com/news/merlin-entertainments-plc-and-coca-cola-great-britain-announce-new-sponsorship-agreement-for-the-london-eye/ And it's not unusual at all. That's why the Academy's home went from being the "Kodak Theater" to the "Dolby Theatre," or the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is the "Macy's" parade. You may also notice it when you're watching a big game on TV.. they name the sponsor before the arena's name. In LA, the Nokia theatre is now the Microsoft theater and on and on..

    2. Oh. Thank you. That makes sense. Before people never used to put coca cola infront of London Eye when they mentioned it and now they do which confused me.

    3. No problem! -- It's a two year deal, so either they extend it or you may notice a different name in front of it in the near future.

    4. Tbf over here in the UK we just call it the london eye, no need to say coca cola london eye completely. :)

    5. Of course, but I'm sure any official statement/event involvement will carry the Coca-Cola name in front of it. That's what the company is paying for. It's purely for legal reasons.

    6. I call it London Eye too but I didn't know coca cola company had issued a contract for it. In fact I wasn't familiar with any of it until I was just notified.
