'Superman Returns' Director Thinks Henry Made A "Charming Superman"

Collider attended the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, and they are reporting that during a Q&A with Superman Returns director Bryan Singer, he mentioned Henry & Man of Steel:

When asked about Man of Steel, he simply says it was a very different film, and “a total re-conception of the Richard Donner movies.” He also said that he found Henry Cavill to be a charming Superman. The director also says his “super-sequel” to Superman Returns would have been a bit like Man of Steel with the eponymous superhero fighting off an alien threat.

You can read more on Singer's upcoming projects at Collider. We're just grateful to Man of Steel director Zack Snyder, for recognizing Henry Cavill was the Superman we've all been waiting for ;)
