Oscar Preview: Henry During Rehearsals At The Dolby Theatre

Henry looking very much the Superman, during Oscar rehearsals at the Dolby Theater today. While he was inside, the press was getting ready for Hollywood's biggest night of the year.

And thanks to actress Sofia Vergara, we now know where Henry will be sitting! (bottom right corner). Right by the stage.

Henry will presumably present an award with Kerry, but we'll have to wait to find out. We're also looking forward to his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live's Oscar special later in the night, along with Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg. This is what we may be in for (sounds like at least part of it might have been previously recorded).

Security is usually super tight during the Oscars, with streets closed off around the Dolby Theatre and stores in the area shutting down for the day. But with Vice President Joe Biden expected to be in attendance, and the recent terror attack in San Bernardino, this year will mark the most heightened state of security in the history of the Academy Awards. Check out all that's planned to make sure it goes off without a hitch.

The stars are dropped off about a half a block from the main entrance to the theatre, and then make their way inside the secure area to pose for the first round of photographers waiting for them. This is the first thing they will see.

They will then pose for the cameras with that white background, that this year is decorated with tiny Oscar statuettes.

The actors slowly make their way down the red carpet (which is normally Hollywood Boulevard), past the fan stands and the press, and finally take a turn at the big statue before walking inside the building.

As you can see, there was still a lot of last minute work going on ahead of the ceremony.

This is the last stop, before the nominees and presenters walk into the theatre. This year they will be greeted by Oscar himself.

Here's a preview of what awaits them inside.

The Academy has also given us a glimpse of the green room where Henry will be hanging out before he takes the stage.

And there will be plenty of ways to keep up with him, in fact maybe too many ways!

Dozens of media outlets will be doing live coverage online, and of course you can catch the main reporting on the Oscar website -- where they will be using tons of cameras to put you in the middle of all the excitement:

“The Oscars Backstage” allows fans to choose from four channels that will pull from more than 20 live cameras strategically placed on the red carpet and backstage at the Dolby Theatre®, providing fans with insider views into the most memorable moments of the night. Pre-show channels include: Director's Cut, Arrivals, Fashion and Red Carpet. During the show, the channels are Director's Cut (including the popular Thank You cam), Audience, Backstage and Press Rooms.

After the Oscars guests will head to the Governors Ball, where Wolfgang Puck will be ready to serve them. Take a look at the menu.

There are several parties going on after the ceremony, and we're pretty sure we'll see Henry at one or two of them. Here's that list.

Phew! - We think that's about it.

The 88th Academy Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, airs LIVE Oscar Sunday, February 28 7e|4p on ABC.

We'll be here to bring you the first pictures, details, and videos as Henry attends the awards for the very first time.

Break a leg, Superman!
