Dany Garcia: "Henry Has A Big Appetite"

Newsweek has an excellent interview with Henry's manager, Dany Garcia. In it, she gives us an exciting update on where things stand with him and his projects:

Garcia also continues to expand her repertoire beyond just the Central Intelligence star; in April, she announced that Garcia Companies had taken on a superhuman new client—Batman v Superman’s Henry Cavill. After positioning Johnson as Hollywood’s highest-paid actor, can she do the same with Cavill?

“Henry has a big appetite,” Garcia says. “We’ve been in a five-month period of time where he’s re-strategizing, acquiring property [for his production company Promethean], he’s filming [Justice League] now, he’s in development for the Superman standalone… he’s beginning to expand that world. It’s beautifully teed up. In a year from now, or two years from now, he’s going to be a force globally.”

If anyone can make it happen, it’s Dany Garcia.

That sounds like confirmation that a Man of Steel sequel is definitely in the works, and we can't wait to hear what's coming from Promethean. You have our full support -- Go Henry!

  4. Such wonderful and positive news for Henry! I think he made a fantastic decision to go with Dany Garcia as his management. Very happy to have an update and also good to hear that he is spending time and effort on his production company. I've always said his stint as Superman is really only the beginning. He's young and his future is so bright. Can't wait to see what happens next. I wish him nothing but happiness and success in all he does!

  6. Whooo what a good news. I like this woman. Is Henry still work with the woman with curly and blond hair who is often with him ? I'm very happy for the projects. Just an idea, Henry should make a film with Matt Bomer. A story of two brothers. They look alike each other.

  8. I thought he was already a force that was globally known. More to the point, this is all great to hear. Henry stays busy enough as it is with all of his charity work and filming Justice League. Now, he's starting up his own company with the mind to want to continue his Superman related work via a more powerful position while still playing the character. So happy for this man.

    1. Don't think his production company has anything to do with superman. More so developing his own creativity with other movies/documentaries of his wishes.

  10. Disn't he start up his company years ago so why has it taken this long to find premises for it? Or did they just decide to move the current one. Either way, HC here certainly has the best to come and I can't wait to watch it unfold!

  11. In some ways Henry now being 33 years old makes you think oh time is passing us by quickly and we need to get moving, I guess in a way that is an age where one would think of having their life all planned out and settled by now (if we go by what society dictates generally). But Henry is another proof that even in your 30s you are still so young to begin establishing yourself; you do not need to have life figured out by the time your thirty. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Henry Cavill is really proving to all that it does not matter how old you are, you can still pursue a certain idea or change direction if you so wish. As long as you have focus. I admire that.

    1. YESSSSS!! Imagine everyone coming together to chat about our Henry. Plus I'm not aware of any proper HC blog or site with an attached forum so it's kind of a new concept in that respect.

Please please please consider it HCN we'll love you forever :D

    3. And me. A really good idea Anonymous September 16, 2016 at 6:58 AM. It doesn't have to be anything major either just somewhere we can all share about HC and get to know each other whilst still under HCN.

  17. Durrel Wildlife Park is holding a charity fundraiser tomorrow night will Henry Cavill be attending?

    1. Could be. it's been held and organised very quietly which is usually the case when he does show up. Same way as the Ugly Bug Ball. But it hasn't been officially confirmed. Also HCN hasn't mentioned it in the news feed. So it could go either way. His attendance would definitely boost the fundraising efforts on the night.
