More From Henry's Last Day On Set In Paris, New Fan Pics

The Mission: Impossible 6 shoot in Paris has wrapped, but the pics and videos keep coming!

This was the second set Henry was at Tuesday. You can see everything else in this post

According to lesechos.fr, a big chunk of the film was shot in France:

More than half of the film was filmed in Paris," says Michel Gomez, general delegate of the cinema mission at the Paris City Hall. The expenses incurred in Paris as part of this shooting (hotels, restaurants ...) and the hiring of 300 French technicians are valued at 25 million euros for two months of shooting. "It's the biggest and heaviest shoot ever made in the capital," continues Michel Gomez.

That certainly goes along with director Chris McQuarrie's vision, which he talked about during his appearance on John August and Craig Mazin’s Scriptnotes podcast recently.

I went back and I looked at the first movie, which started in Prague, and realized that they’re in Prague for the first half of the movie. So, I sort of pulled back a little bit on the globe-trotting. I think in Rogue Nation I think we might have been in six countries in the first ten minutes of the movie.

The M:I6 director talks extensively about the process of making this sequel, and how it will vary from the way he approached Rogue Nation. Collider wrote an excellent piece highlighting his comments, so make sure to check it out at the link below.

Now that Henry is done with his work in Paris, several of those who got to meet him are sharing their photos along with some really nice captions.

We really feel we were spoiled by all the updates from Paris, so thanks to everyone who shared their photos and videos. Now that production is headed to New Zealand, news may be hard to come by because of the remote set locations and access to them. But as they say... we'll always have Paris.

UPDATE 5/29:  If you click through the profile below (look for the arrow on the right side) you can see more set pics.

  2. Why would they cancel the London premiere for WW??! Manchester is up north and London is south. There was a paris shooting during the time of filming mission impossible yet they continued to shoot their film in paris despite the incident... this is so upsetting for us because London wasn't even the place where it happened, if it were Manchester where the premiere was supposed to be held then we would understand, but London?! Very upsetting.

    1. Anon - 1:14 In all due respect The UK security level has just been raised from Severe to Critical.. CRITICAL! The Manchester attack was not the only recent attack on UK soil this year, numerous London knifings, the recent Westminster attack, smaller terror incidents across cities just this year so far PLUS quite a number of terror plots have been foiled by our police over the last couple years alone.
As much as I hate to be saying it, it pains me to do so, we are under attack! The citizen's safety is first and foremost. I'm sorry but thats how it is and should be.
It doesn't matter that the incident didn't even happen in London the security alert is warranted. We as a country stand by our fellow men and women in solidarity. This has been so damn heartbreaking a movie premiere is really the least of our concerns right now. The premiere will be a prime target for -god forbid- another attack due to the increased number of people coming together, those in charge are trying to prevent that. We've lost far too many as is.
      Please respect the choice made.

Admins, apologies if my post offends or is deemed innappropriate that isn't my intention due to the political topic.

    2. Everyone is under attack, US have had worse and guns, UK's security is tighter than US (and france) for sure yet they have the premiere over there? Why should we have to suffer and not get what we want because of these threats and attacks, they shouldn't stop people from enjoying life and attending big events. So you're trying to say that we as a whole should come together and protect each other? How so? What exactly do we do? Will showing my respect and condolences to every family that lost someone help protect UK? Will me being miserable and sad about every loss this country had protect everyone? Isn't it the governments duty to protect every citizen? I honestly don't know how you want me to react because I've already given my condolences and showed respect to families, what more do you want from me? Why should I or others in this matter be miserable, why can't I/we have concerns of something you feel isn't important? You're only thinking about one place, you haven't thought about the others, you say we lost so many people, but how many have lost their lives because of these attacks in the US and other countries of course. Doesn't stop the other events from going on in that country.
I'm just saying that there wasn't anything I'm aware of in London this past month; no threats. Which annoys me, they could've gotten extra security as well for WW if they felt threatened. Don't have to ruin it for the young ones in the UK as well who were looking so forward to seeing Gal, and they aren't aware of what's going on in the world doesn't mean we have to ruin it for them either.

    3. Wait, are we even allowed to discuss this on this website? I'm just upset by everything that has happened. If we aren't allowed then just take down my first comment, sorry and thanks.

    4. Hi, Londoner here born & bred... nobody here is saying anyone has to surrender but at the moment Britain is mentioned because of the most recent event; I'm sure thats all @2.07PM was meaning though correct me if wrong. The latest is on a par with 7/7/2005 so yup major deal! There actually have been many threats recently in London itself. If you research you'll only find a handful, bear in mind not everything is reported in the (biased) press as they as corrupt as our government. Military personnel are now replacing officers on the streets and there have been bomb threats in & around the London area not long after Tuesday night's incident and thats not even including the DUB-LDN flight evacuation. Just this evening, a man was arrested under the Terrorism Act in my local shopping centre in Barking. I could go on but I'd be here all day listing everything. Please don't underestimate our children, I'm sure the young ones looked so forward to seeing their idol in concert but to then tragicly lose their life. Nothing is ruined.. they will understand! So if you're not native then I guess thats why you're unaware but I'm sure you can understand that prevention is better than cure.

    5. You haven't read what I said fully. Because you only wrote a small portion of my response. What about threats that are going on around the world? I never said anything about surrendering don't know where that came from. Nor do I care for what's happened in the past because it's the past and people move on, especially if it's over a decade old. Like I said you're only thinking about one country and not looking at threats and attacks anywhere else. Maybe because you're not aware. But just because these things are happening doesn't mean everyone has to suffer for it and not be able to do whatever they want because it's "risky" to others. Like I said they could've easily gotten more security to avoid incidents. It's not like UK is the only country under attack or being threatened right now. There are others. The concert was in Manchester if Manchester was were the premiere was then I'd be fine they canceled but the premiere was in London and I've checked if there were major threats. The only thing I can actually find is the incident that happened 2 months back. I go out there's no suspicious activity by anyone and this is a person who can't stay home. And I mean abouts London. I am well aware of people who do act sketchy however I haven't seen anything this past month apart from petty theft. The fact that their excuse was because of the Manchester attack should tell you that Manchester was the reason for their cancellation not London. If Manchester incident never happened then the premiere would've still happened regardless of these supposed current threats.

    6. One more thing: If you believe the potential 'threat' has been 'prevented' then you're wrong. If London is under attack then it would still go one elsewhere doesn't have to be a premiere or concert like event. It can be a normal outing with a group of people or just randomly on the street like the one back in February. Does that mean we should all stay home and not go out risking our lives?? As staying home puts us less at risk than it does going out.

    7. London London London. Venezuela has it worse you lot need to stop being selfish! Why can't you all promote the attacks going on in Venezuela? be more cautious. Henry cavill fans are from there too you know.

    9. Right? Anonymous 6:22 AM. People need to calm down and stop feeding into these sorts of arguments.

First commenter, premieres have been canceled before, chill.

Second commenter, war world 2 happened and we're still here, chill. We can beat this. Be positive, think positive.

I wonder what's happening with M:I6 New Zealand. I can't wait for Nomis either. I'm so tempted to # but I remembered this isn't instagram or twitter. Lol.

    10. The decision to cancel the European premier might not be a political or an emotional response. It might just be that they whoever insures the event won't cover it while the threat level is critical etc.

    11. My post disappeared. I said basically, it's all over twitter about the whole manchester thing being the decision to cancel. I saw it on HCN post (I think few hours ago.. I was concentrating on my project).

    12. I'm an artist and hopefully soon I'll do a digital art version of HC! Hopefully, I'm still a bit off, not perfect and on top of that got the wrong tablet, I really do hope it comes out alright or people will criticise my work and probably HC will laugh if he ever comes across it, not the reaction I'd want.

  6. Why are people still hating on zack snyder? Poor guy. To me he will forever be the best director for even putting two iconic heroes onscreen together!!! His moves have emotion, a more telling story and I will forever cherish him for that.♥
