  1. Is anyone else afraid Henry will just have a cameo in JL? He was totally absent from the footage and screen rants set visit found no hide nor hair of Cavill or Superman and they claim they roamed the set freely.

The official synopsis does not even mention Superman - only that the 5 (Bats, WW, Cycborg, Flash and Aquaman) would take on a massive threat.

My fear is Superman will appear at the every end, save the day and fly off into space not to be seen again in the DCEU.

    1. Oh I totally agree! It's all about Ben Aflec! Who cares! We want to see more of Henry! Should be in every scene of the movie!

    2. People are saying Henry won't film till late August. Its not too hard to figure what that means for the size of his role. Plus Superman is off to the side of the promo photo released at SDCC with Batman and WW front and centers. Superman won't even be one of the JL leaders. If he joins the JL at all.

    3. Most notable was Henry was the last JL star introduced by Mr. Snyder. Ben and Gal the first introduced. Usually star intros are based on how much screen time they have in the film. Bad sign.

    4. Guys.. let's not do this again. Please stop posting wrong information or I'll be forced to delete your comments. None of it is accurate, and if anything the SDCC video/appearance, new poster and set visit confirms Superman is going to shine in Justice League.

    5. Now, anonymous @1:06. I don't think there is anything to worry about. I did not expect Henry to be in the first footage, especially after the apparent effort to keep his role hidden from the press who visited the set. If anything, that tells me his part will be super important, hence the secrecy. As far as screen time, I'm pretty sure he's not in every shot.. it's an ensemble piece, not an MoS sequel. That is how it works. Either way, by the next one he'll be completely back. Have faith. Hope lives!

    6. If that comment is directed at me I am just stating the facts of Hollywood. How actors are listed in credits and introduced in events like ComicCon is based on pecking order. Actors have huge egos and little things like who gets introduced before others is a pecking order right. Based on that, among the 6 JL actors introduces by Mr. Snyder, Henry will have the smallest role. If he did not his agent would not have allowed that and Mr. Snyder would not have done that. Look at the other films intro'd at the Con and how their actors were handled.

    7. Okay, let me put it another way. Henry could have five seconds in the film, and we'll be just as excited as if he's in every shot.. and we'll be cheering just as loud for his costars. If you are coming here to bring bad vibes, please don't. This is not the place.

    8. Anonymous July 27, 2016 at 4:10 PM I think you'll find Superman IS one of the Justice League leaders. He's one of The Trinity... Wonder Woman and Batman and oh thats right..SUPERMAN!

It's obvious Superman won't have a majority share in the footage seeing as though this film is the construction of the league and as well having to inroduce all of the other secondary characters. It isn't an 4387738 hour movie. They only have so much time to include everything, including Superman's own arc too. Henry will be fine. Just fine.

    9. Remember it's only the 1st Justice League, there's another after that one. I feel like he will have a cameo/short scene in the first one due to having to assemble all the other heroes and their storylines, it will make it difficult to fit the whole of Superman in there. He might as well be as lead cast in JL2 than the first one. I hope Lois Lane is in the second one with him.

    10. Anon 4:48. Problem with your theory that Henry will just be featured in a cameo in JL1 is that Ben and Gal are being featured throughout the film. So their screen time is not impacted at all by introducing the new cast. Take it all out of Henry's screen time!?

      Delete
    11. Like I said, lead in the second one will ensure his story fully there because they can't fit everything in one movie due to limited length of time for it thus the reason for a JL2. The fact that they've already got Batman and Wonder woman in lead takes it up anyway with the other heroes including their background stories.

  2. Also, besides no confirmation of Henry filming there is technically no confirmation he will be in JL. other than the IMDB cast listing which was put out there a few years back before all the Bat-centric DCEU changes.

    2. In the video, Zack Snyder confirms Supes is in the movie. And I think the shirtless (!) video is a special effects scene from the aforesaid major motion picture coming to a multiplex near you, Justice League!!!!!

    3. What shirtless video??

    4. The video Henry posted on his IG/FB https://www.instagram.com/p/BIOpUCIAy97/?taken-by=henrycavill&hl=en

    5. Henry has been seen around Leavesden/Watford studios from multiple sources. Therefore he is indeed busy filming.

    6. It's actually been confirmed at SD Comic Con by Zack himself when he introduced Henry Cavill to the stage for Justice League.

  3. One thing is IMO is that he is in film but won't be seen until maybe in middle but really we won't REALLY know until Synder says more so let's not speculate or jump to conclusions until there is more info.

  4. I think there will be a surprise and I'm really excited. ^^
I mean...everything that relates to Superman was hidden as they were showing some backstage-material, he is in the front row of the poster and the SDCC presentation even highlighted his presence. I want him back in a bad mood kicking some ass.

    1. To be fair no one knows if Superman related stuff was hidden during the backstage tour. Some are coming up with the "hidden" explanation and others see it as confirmation that there won't be much Superman in JL so there is nothing to show. Like Henry will film his stuff in a few days time and it'll be done. Snyder introduced Henry at ComicCon so there is nothing to hide actually.

  5. Guys/ladies, relax... nothing 2 do with who gets top credits in JL etc... (no way Gal's credit will b above Henry, Ben will b 1st..cause...)
JL is still over a yr away, there's NO reason 2 feature supes in a teaser trailer, would have cheapen his (spoiler!) death.
Trust me, i hated that WB literally shoved batman into my face in this DCEU, but i have faith in Snyder who has stated that he have plans 4 supes. So yah, at this pt, not showing supes is the right thing 2 do (the doomsday trailer in BvS, remember?!) In fact, the most i wanna c supes in any trailers henceforth is his cape flapping and/or bck view of him. I wanna b surprised when i watch the movie...pretty sure i will scream when Henry's face show up :D

    1. Snyder had plans for Superman before MOS premiered. Superman the core of the DCEU, the first superhero and all. But Snyder abandoned whatever plans he had immediately after MOS and shifted it to Batman. Now of course Snyder is no longer in control o the DCEU so who knows what plans the WB PTB do or do not have for Superman.

    2. Superman wasn't the first Superhero in DC Doctor Occult was.

  7. Can someone explain the Instagram video? Is Henry filming a commercial and he took a clip from that and added music to it and posted it for fans?

  8. Folks, go back and look at the full Justice League poster...Superman is standing in front of all the other characters, including Batman. If that doesn't prove his importance, what does? I'm glad he wasn't shown in the trailer. There is supposed to be mystery in how he comes back. I'm excited to see what they have in store for us. Zack introducing Henry at the end of the Justice League presentation was his teasing the audience. Drumroll, "and what would the Justice League be without Superman!" Then when Henry came out, the crowd went wild. They are building our anticipation.....I can't wait to see what happens!

  10. This again? Surely, people didn't expect Henry to show up as Supes in the first trailer, which was basically just cobbled together. It's WAY too early to see him. Keep in mind, the movie doesn't come out for another year and a few months. We haven't even seen any supporting characters or the villains, yet. And on top of that, Supes can't show up just yet, as it will fly in the face of the premise. Batman and WW are doing this to honor Superman's legacy by fighting his fight for Humanity's sake. That wouldn't make a lot of sense if he appeared early, would it?

And what's all this I'm hearing about Zack having more interest in Batman? Based on MOS and BVS (The ultimate Cut; which was HIS work), that's not the case at all. Both movies were clearly about Superman. Batman may have played a large role, but his entire storyline was intertwined with Superman's. He may have gotten a lucky victory over the superior hero and a couple of cool action scenes, but let's face it, when it came down to the stuff that really mattered, Zod and Doomsday, he was WAY out of his league. He couldn't even figure out that he was being outsmarted by Luthor or the fact that he was basically a villain in this story. Can anyone honestly say the same won't happen in JL; the threat being bigger than both Zod, Luthor, and Doomsday ever were? This is SUPERMAN's universe. WB made it seem like it was Batman's due to their greed, but many of us saw right through that. Zack even went on to say that he made these movies about Superman to show that he is more relevant than ever and that Superman is his favorite hero.

Superman will return when the time is right and Henry will grace the screen once more. We just need to remain calm and patient. Remember how far away this film is and that Superman's return is part of the story that will impact in a big way. It's like Zack and his lovely wife Debbie said. You can't have a Justice League without Superman and that it is too early to give anything serious away. The fact that they brought Henry to comic-con despite prior rumors and the fact that he stands before the other League members in the poster should offer a good sign, not a bad one...

    1. I could've sworn Zack Snyder said his favourite superhero was Batman on Conan O'brien?

      Delete
    2. The Dark Knight Returns is his favorite comic, which features Batman, but clearly he likes Superman more. He said a few years ago that Superman is his favorite hero despite that not being the popular opinion. He always defended the fact that Superman being a nice guy is nothing to be ashamed of and said he wanted to show in these movies that even good intentions have consequences. Zack has continued to show that he cares a lot for Superman primarily. So far, the DCEU has been all about Superman. Zack portrayed him as the hero and protagonist in both films so far. He showed him going through many issues and delimmas, but kept his core intact. There was more to explore in Superman's side of the world than Batman's, we saw WAY more Superman supporting characters from the comics (including some that are original), the main villains of the story were Superman villains, etc. Literally the primary thing on Zack's mind was in fact Superman...
