Superman Looking Handsome In Black: Jersey Sightings Today

Lauren.Ivy.Jersey (IG) met Henry on his home island of Jersey today. Thanks for sharing your pic!

It's been a busy time for Henry. He was in London for U.N.C.L.E. reshoots the first part of the week, then he flew to Jersey to announce his latest charity venture, Cavill Conservation, in support of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. This week we also got to break the news that Henry is running in the Gibraltar Rock Run in October, in support of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. He has an official page where you can help him reach his fundraising goal. As we were reminded again today, Henry always makes time for his fans, so let's return the favor. Donate what you can for this wonderful cause he supports. Here is that link again. Let's do this guys!

  3. Lovin' the messy hair, it makes me wish I knew how he looks with bed-head and sleepy eyes. And oh, how he's wearing the hell outta those jeans! I would love to sit across the table from him with a fresh cup of steaming hot coffee and listen to him discuss . . . anything and everything. The man is just adorable. Dang. Sure wish he'd come and visit my island for a while.

  5. Do you mind if I fire a few ideas at you (HCN) for ways in which we can try& drum up support for Henry's Gibraltar Rock Run in aid of the RMCTF?

    1) Have you thought of contacting Warner Bros? There's surely got to be a lot of good publicity here, both for the Superman brand image in general, and for the forthcoming BvS film, that Superman is (in real life) going to run up the Rock of Gibraltar to try and raise £20,000 for injured marines and their families! And fans can sponsor him!
2)Have you thought of contacting Zack Snyder(I think he has a twitter account).? I would hope that every single cast/crew member of BvS would want to sponsor Henry. I know that Zack will already
know of Henry's run (because of his leave of absence in Oct) but I suspect Henry will have been too
modest to mention to Zack and fellow cast/crew that they can sponsor him thru his justgiving page.

3)The same goes for the cast & crew of Man from Uncle-I'm sure Henry made a lot of friends during filming, and they will want to show their support for by donating.Plus any publicity for Henry will boost
interest in MfU next January. Maybe you could contact Armie Hammer/Guy Ritchie?

4)What about Henry's agent/PR firm (if you know who they are)--do they have any plans to promote his run?
5)I would hope the whole island of Jersey would want to get behind Henry ( and his brother Nik) in this amazing charity effort. Maybe you could contact Radio Jersey thru Kevin Pamplin (he has a twitter account).
    6) Apart from other Henry fansites, have you thought of contacting Man of Steel fansites?

Sorry to bombard with so many suggestions , but you did ask for thoughts/ideas!

    1. Thank you for your reply and suggestions. All good ways to get things going for this great cause. Will definitely try some of them out. But feel free to do the same, your voice is just as important! -- We'll be keeping you updated on the process. We won't disappoint Henry, and know the rest of his fans won't either. Appreciate your feedback. Best, Yvette

  6. That's a great list provided by the previous commentator. And here's another name to add to the mix.......GymJones.
Henry's been such a great advert for them-and running up the Rock of Gibraltar is yet another testament to their training methods-so I reckon everyone associated with Gym Jones will be happy to sponsor him.
They'll know about the run,of course, but like the previous commentator, I think Henry may be too modest to give them his justgiving link and ask for sponsorship, so why don't we do it for him?
If they've already got the link, no harm done in checking if they have. I'd do it myself, but don't have
    a twitter account .
If you google Mark Twight and Mike Blevins, it shows their twitter accounts.("mark_twight", and "sworntoblack," I think)
Thanks for all you're doing ,HCN, for Henry, and for us fans.

  8. Other than sending details of Henry's justgiving page to HCN (props to you!) , do we what know what else the RMCTF themselves are doing to publicise Henry's participation and justgiving link? It's in their own interest to spread the word as widely as possible. Have they contacted/sent press releases to radio/tv stations in the UK(including Jersey) and overseas? Maybe they ,as well as HCN,should also contact WB,Zack Snyder,GymJones,RadioJersey etc. like previous commentators have suggested ( Coming from them, people won't doubt the authenticity of the justgiving link.)
Maybe we should contact them and pass on some of the great suggestions that have been made here?
    Thanks

    1. The RMCTF has its own page where you can donate. This Just Living push is really a chance for fans to show their support and sponsor Henry. More like a fan community effort. We are contacting some of the people/entities you've mentioned and it wouldn't be that hard for them to confirm, (most are working with Henry right now). But again, it will take a village and every single one of you can make a difference each day by spreading the word. Thank you so much for all the support and advice you've already given. Again, we will come through for Henry. Whatever it takes.

  9. Wouldn't you like to run alongside? :-) this is not only support , but also a challenge. Sponsors might donate more and fans might send kind of encouragement to get the high rock, vía your pages. Btw, whatabout describing how the path will be? ...

    1. Of course, but our efforts are focused on helping him reach his goal. We're happy to stay behind the scenes and cheer him on. As far as the path he'll be taking, we hear from other runners that it's pretty grueling. We're sure Henry can handle it. We'll be bringing you updates as the event gets closer.

    2. I've heard and read it is grueling but sure he can handle it, and sure he can reach high goals for good causes. :-)
Thanks for all the hard work HCN.

    3. Thank you for helping us help him. Btw, considering the "running alongside" -- good point about the challenge. We may be able to make it happen. Keep you posted.
