Tuxedo Love: Henry Cavill At The Laureus World Sports Awards

A handsome Henry Cavill walked the red carpet at the Laureus World Sports Awards (that's his brother Charlie in the back) in Shanghai tonight. We hope he enjoys his time there. Don't miss everything else from China! (1/2/3).

THR:

Hollywood A-Listers Add Glamour to Laureus Sports Awards in Shanghai

There was more Hollywood glamour in evidence when Man of Steel star Henry Cavill also presented an award and said meeting New Zealand rugby legend Sean Fitzpatrick had been a highlight of his trip to China.

BBC:

Henry Cavill, the actor that played Clark Kent/Superman in director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel movie, predicts a positive World Cup for England's rugby union team.

Speaking at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Shanghai, Cavill also reveals what "super powers" are needed on the rugby field.

The Rugby World Cup will take place in England in September and October this year, with Twickenham hosting the final on 31 October.

Here's a really low quality recording of the show, and you do see Henry throughout (presenting, in the audience). We'll add a better version if we get it.

Henry also stopped by a Chinese Calligraphy booth, and had his name written on a Chinese scroll. How cool are these pics?

    1. Will do! -- that fan captured the short bit when it aired where she lives. As soon as the full interview is up, we'll make sure to post. Can't wait to hear what else he had to say about Stratton.

  5. Above his looks, his success, etc... He seems like a 100% genuine guy and that is my favorite trait about it. (Without obviously knowing him personally.) Love how he appreciates how dedicated those athletes have to be to get where they are. Such a humble, nice guy. :-)

(Off to go click "No, I am not a robot"...;) lol
