I saw the movie with my kids. It was amazing. Cavill is THE Superman. The final scene that he and Zod are in was astoundingly poignant in its ability to convey his humanity even though he is not human. The angst and heartache are palpable. My ten year old whispered, "Poor Clark Kent...". That is the first time Ive seen a kid see the Character as Clark Kent accepting the responsibility of BEING Superman, and the sacrifices that go along with that.I got emotional in that moment. And felt a deep pride in my son.
